Your Vote Matters

In 1789, the first congressional elections were held. It would be based on gender, race and property ownership.Voting rights were chosen by States to provide their own way of doing things.

Women were granted the right to vote In 1920, giving them the power to not only vote but to voice their opinions; to help change the way things were done.

On February 3rd 1870 the 15th amendment was ratified. Laying the constitutional foundation for black voting rights. It also declared the rights that voting could not be denied on accounts of race, color or previous condition of servitude.

So with this being said, voting and having the right to vote, dating back centuries and even decades ago. Has become the cornerstone of the way American people move towards change. Getting rid of was not accepted and demanding the right way of doing things, all by voting.

And with the 2026 United States election for US government held on November the 3rd 2026, is a great way to let your voice be heard by your vote.

Marking the 120th year of Congress. There will be 35 of 100 seats in the US Senate up for grabs, and all 435 seats in the US House of Representative up for grabs.

Since the beginning of the new administration, some things have been different. Like for example, the rising cost in groceries has doubled, some even tripled, from beef, to dairy, to vegetables, even the cost of fruit has skyrocketed to the moon.

Food Banks are having to turn away people that's in need of food assistance because they're just not enough food to give out.

And please let's not talk about Oil prices, they are so high they have completely left the Earth. They are now hovering somewhere around Jupiter, maybe even Mars or Saturn.

But the moral of the story is, Congress, The President of the United States, the mayor's, the governor's and all the other officials in government, cannot take their seats without our vote.

But in order to vote for the right candidates we have to do our own research. Adding and subtracting positive and the negative from each candidate, and understanding that it is not about Democrats or Republicans.

But about setting our next generation up to win. Because if we are putting in the ones that are for themselves, and not for the American people we are setting the next generation up to fail.

We are the role models, the ones they look up to the ones that they mimic and say to themselves if my parents vote for them then I should too, or if it's okay for my parents or my grandparents supporting the administration then it's okay for me to do so as well.

But what are we really teaching our kids and grandkids, that being wrong or right doesn't matter, you have to stay true to being a Democrat or Republican, because that's just family tradition and the way we do things.

My dad is a Republican so I'm a Republican my mom is a Democrat so I'm a Democrat. There are a lot of decisions within voting that are all about the title and not the truth, and will stand ten toes down, because they cannot see themselves on the other side of the political team.

Even if their future and the hard work they've been putting in for so long depend on it. Jobs are no longer being given to the ones that have gone to school, taken on student loans and debt, to be a part of a career they've been dreaming about. But instead are being forced out of their career dream job for AI.

If we the people don't stand up for the Next generation (Our Future), who will? That's one thing that artificial intelligence can't take from us, and that is our vote. It's an opportunity to be able to set the next generation up to win, so that they can truly be all that they can be, to not only dream big but to see their dreams come true.

The 2026 November election is approaching fast, and will be here in a little while. The only question is, will you vote? Will you put in the time and research? Will you focus on the truth and put in the right candidate and not just focus on being a traditional person Democrat or Republican? The next generation is waiting on you. It's your turn!
