Why would I ever die?

Eternal Whispers

By MGSPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Why would I ever die, I ask the skies,

When every dawn blooms with unfurling light,

And every whisper of the wind defies

The shadow’s claim, igniting pure delight?

Look, how the river wends through ancient stone,

It dances onward, twisting through the years,

Each ripple sings a tale, a thread that’s sewn

With echoes of forgotten hopes and tears.

The mountains stand, their crowns wrapped in soft cloud,

A testament to ages, wise and bold,

In their embrace, the whispers of the loud

Remind me life is not just to be told.

The laughter of a child, the rustle of leaves,

The secrets tangled in the stars' embrace,

In every heartbeat, every breath, my heart weaves

A tapestry of moments, rich in grace.

For love and dreams are fleeting, yet they stay,

In every song the universe bestows,

Why would I ever die when in this clay

The fire of countless legacies still glows?

So here I stand, beneath the boundless sky,

With every heartbeat, I defy the night;

In every dream I chase, I’m bound to fly—

With love as my horizon, I embrace the light.
