I have been writing here on Vocal.media.com for the last five years, but a lot of time I still feel like a newbie. I have many subscribers even though it seems that they are not reading my work. I believe that my writing is readable and maybe enjoyable for some, but lately it seems that I am lucky enough to maybe get maybe four reads on most of my work. I know with what has occurred since the maintenance of Vocal things will take time to get back to 'normal' but even after that since I am a free account writer will I only be writing for myself and a few writer friends here.
I like writing here on this site for I do learn a lot from reading others work. But as a few people keep writing about reciprocity I feel I am not really getting a fair shake at times. I know a few of my subscribers haven't been too present either in sharing their work for it seems they have been 'gone' for months since they last published.
Please let me know what you think of my writing for that is how I learn. I tried a Vocal challenge just to see if I could do it and I have only had one comment and that was from someone who just started. The title was 'My Obit' for The Posthumous Writer challenge. I was/am hoping for more comments on this one even on my haiku 'A Heat Dome' I had a few comments, and I thought that was really good, but maybe it wasn't.
Maybe when everyone is finally settled in with this 'New Vocal' and things get worked out maybe things will be more reciprocal for all of us here on this new Vocal. Media platform. Maybe.

I am a person who really likes to read and write and to share what I learned with all my education. My page will mainly be book reviews and critiques of old and new books that I have read and will read. There will also be other bits, too.
