Oil, is the Heartbeat of Texas, and the fuel that runs through the veins of the world we all live in. From Countries like Russia, Venezuela, Iran, Dubai and the United States of America. It is the cornerstone that allows businesses to thrive, Farmers to farm, and everyday people be able to travel from point A to point B.
But while traveling to your destination, it is so important to make sure that you have enough gas to get you where you are trying to go. It is something about putting the gas pump on automatic, allowing the gas to fill your vehicle itself, while sitting in your car gathering your thoughts, or listening to your favorite music tunes.
It is something that we all have been doing since the Ford Motor Company was built in America, and we were able to put our foot to the pedal and Ride Sally Ride.
The oil and gas industry is like the stock market, it fluctuates. Some days it is up and some days it is down. But no matter what it is always there, ready to be used.
But now with a new era, and caring about the way we travel, focusing more on making the air we breathe cleaner, and protecting global warming, now more and more electric vehicles are being made.
So where would that leave oil? And how much of it would really need to be pumped out of the ground on a day-to-day basis, if eventually we are going to need less and less of it. If the United States starts to change the way business is done, other countries will also do the same.
And that is where the oil market could be in serious trouble. Because it would really leave it nowhere to go, or no one that could really use it. Is this the reason Americans are fighting so hard to make the switch from oil to electric?
Because we just don't like change. And also because we cannot see an economy or the world we live in without the heartbeat that has been beating for so long. It's a very scary thought to think about.
Even gas stations would also have to make the switch. From gas pumps to charging stations, and the slogan fueling America would no longer exist. Wow, just the thought of being at the gas station filling up your vehicle super excited to go on a vacation you've been waiting for 4 weeks, months, and even years to do. It's kind of like a bittersweet moment, because one day this era that we have known for quite some time will be no more.
Just thinking by the year 2050, and charging stations are operating as normal and gas pumps no longer exist, new generations may not even know that they were even around, or even what a fuel pump is. Telling them stories filled with great memories of what fueling America and the world really meant to people. A time like no other, an era that only made sense if you were a part of it. So I guess it's better to start now then later, one step at a time, making the switch, at first we did not even see coming.
And that is truly embracing the electric industry. And leaving the oil industry that we have all known so well behind. With a cleaner World, improved global warming, and breathable air that's better for us. And with patience and time, we will learn how to adjust, and happier we will be.
