At the stroke of midnight on September 1, you will begin to hear whinnying and neighing sounds coming from the woods and through the air. You will know at that time to leave not hay and carrots, but bits of sweets. For you know that the Halloween horse is on his way. The Halloween horse is not like any other horse for he is covered in speckles and spangles and rainbows and is blind but knows where he's going without a fear of where he's going. He is looking for all the good girls and boys come Halloween night. Yay!
