The Getting To Know Each Other Game: Edition Five

Greetings Vocalites!!! 

Before we move onto the 5th edition of  The Getting to Know Each Other Game, I want to spread a little love to each of you here. I am so grateful to be part of such a wonderful platform with so many wonderful and very talented people. 

I think about the people here and it just amazes me how deep and how diverse the talent is here on Vocal Media. Being part of this really makes me feel excited and thrilled. You just never know where things like this can go. Where this can lead us. 30 or 40 years down the road this whole community of people can one day look upon this as being some sort of renaissance of camaraderie and creativity. Kind of like Laurel Canyon back in the late 1960s but for writing and poetry. This is an exciting part of my life and I cherish it.

As you all know my life is tough. Physically I’m able to handle this. But because this is happening to my mom I am so very emotionally invested and it is really very tough. If she weren’t my mom this would be an easy job for me. I go through a lot day-to-day. A lot of sadness. Some tears. But with faith I move forward and I accomplish what I am supposed to accomplish.

Right now the major thing that is keeping me going is the revival of my 1980s music. I went through my shoebox full of tapes and found several songs that I was able to revive with the use of online digital tools such as Wavepad and enhancement using Suno AI. I am really happy with how the songs turned out. My friend, guitarist Jose De Rosas is equally excited. These are songs and he I wrote together. I wrote the lyrics and he composed the melodies. I sing the songs and he plays the guitar. We were a great team back in the 1980s and now in 2026 we are a great team again as GreenHouse 2.

This edition of The Getting to Know Each Other game is a little different. This one touches a bit on the psyche. What follows are ten rounds of This or That. In this game, you are presented with two options and you choose one—or sometimes both—depending on what feels right to you. After making your choice, you briefly explain why you chose what you did.
