The connection between creativity and writing

Our thoughts are endless filled with brainstorming, note taking, Envision, and even dreaming. The thoughts we have and continue to create can take us a long way once we find out how to apply them into our daily lives.

The process of thoughts isn't simple and can vary from person to person. A thought is backed up by an idea and ideas can change faster than thoughts. Our ideas are what craft the thoughts we have and can create new ones as we deem them so.

Once are thoughts leave our mind, they are no longer thoughts but rather a choice or decision. To apply thoughts into action people, use methods such as strategies, journaling, frameworks. The most effective method for me has to be using frameworks as the method consist of connecting one thought to another. Thinking in frameworks can be ideal for some but for me it is linking every thought to having an underlying purpose. When utilizing the method of frameworks, is to confirm every thought and align it with a reason.

Brainstorming however is completely different than frameworks, as brainstorming can involve multiple thoughts being used and none of them will have an underlining purpose because no thought will be tied to a reason. Brainstorming is like trial and error and can go wrong quickly if one tries to utilize purpose and reasoning within brainstorming. I advise people who have an underlying purpose for every thought and can provide it with reasoning to utilize the method of frameworks over brainstorming. Brainstorming uses a method of thought>idea>strategy. Every thought that is brainstormed turns into a strategy.

Note taking is similar to brainstorming as you are constructing and testing every idea and thought and applying it into actionable thinking. However, I should note that note taking is also similar to journaling, but how can this be you may ask? Note taking does not only require testing and trying every idea but also being a bit creative about what ideas and thoughts you have. This is when note taking takes a different path than brainstorming. Unlike brainstorming that relies on the same strategy for ideas and thoughts. Note taking will require different approaches as you become more creative when you note take the notes contrast into greater ideas and thoughts. When brainstorming it is typical to stick to the same thoughts and trying your best to strategist around them.

Journaling always reminded me of that old newspaper sitting on a shelf in the back of an unused room filled with dust and cobwebs. Journaling is centered around certain topics and subjects only and requires you to go with the information that is already provided to you rather than coming up with your own ideas. Some journalists find themselves going their own way by utilizing alternative options that captive their ideas to provide different opinions.

Envisioning is filled with imagination and can take your thoughts and ideas to another universe. Envision can be idealistic as there are no certain categories that align with your thoughts and ideas. Envision can be done in the moment and you may want to act on your thoughts and ideas right away. Envisioning doesn't involve a process nor strategy but instead it is something that cannot wait. Envision is great for immediate thinkers and action takers who takes action first and think to strategist later.

Dreaming has to be the most interesting on the list due to the reason for dreaming having no limitations. Dreaming has no ceiling and is endless this typically why when people dream their dreams tend to have a completely different ending then what you originally thought it would have.

I think it is important to know the process and steps taken before one is to create content.

We can easily forget how important it is to strategist every thought we have and craft it into an idea followed by categorizing your thought under a specific topic.
