Tell Me About It

Vocal has many resources for new users, and for those users that may want a little refresh.
You can find these resources on the Resources tab. Note that I would add a screenshot here, but I can't figure out how to do that since the platform has reformatted. Once I do; I will. But go to your home page and look at the top of the screen and you will see the word Resources, then click on it.
You can also click on the image/link below (which looks like a mistake even though it isn't) and you will access the Resources page.

Once on the Resources page you will see many options including Creator 101. Here is a link that looks identical to the one above even though it isn't, that will take you to Creator 101. It really is a different link, I promise. I'll wait here while you test it, but come back; OK?

OK! You came back! Excellent. (Shout out to the readers that believed me and just kept reading!)

There are 10 articles in the series and they were last updated 3 years ago when I first used the rather quiet Vocal Discord and the much-missed Creator Chat articles to suggest it.. You know what I am thinking, don't you?

These obviously need to be updated. Oh, yes, I've made some edits and have responded to non-bot questions as they appeared. Maybe much of the content can stay as-is? I dunno.

But these recent overhauls and enhancements need to be reflected within the content. It's something I both am able to do and want to do, although I think I need to wait until the dust settles a bit. (At least I had Connecting Stripe arranged before Create Your First Story, so I got that going for me already)

At the VERY least I need to edit everything to reflect the (surprising to me) news that unpaid creator/writers do not earn on their work. [They CAN receive tips, but I think that could be stretch for many folks. If I was someone well-known, though, Like maybe Dharr? I might add that suggestion to my work. }

My question: What do YOU want to see? Please let me know. I am PRETTY SURE that I enabled comments on this, so please leave a comment.

Now, since there is a very real possibility that I do not yet have things configured to accept comments, imma try to add one of the comment buttons now:

So, that wasn't too hard (/ , then scroll a bit and chose the option to add a comment button) so I'll try to add a Share button too.

To recap:

• The Creator 101 needs to be updated.

• I did the last update 3 years ago and happy to update again

• Let me know what you would like to have added, FAQ suggestions, etc

• Wonder how I did this list? At the top left of the page as you write are the list options and Heading buttons.

• I suspect the Subscribe and Comment options might self-populate after I publish this, so maybe the buttons weren't needed? I dunno; let's all learn about it together.

• Not a recap, but a random thought: Since I haven't changed my profile image in a LONG time, maybe I need to update that since Vocal has spiffed up the platform; how about you?

• I'll also update my 'All my Top Stories' piece with some recent recognition. That should help me get the hang of adding oh, excuse me: embedding links.
