Vocal Legends: Prompts
As you will surely not be aware, because I suck at pushing these things, I have a dollar challenge going at the moment. It closes on 30th June. It's only a couple of days, but keep in mind you can do a micro, a drabble, or a poem - it doesn't have to be War and Peace.

RIP Me
Chloe Rose: Loving Mother, Friend, and Writer. The Official Notice from the office of Unfiltered Chloe: Contrary to recent rumors (which I have apparently started), I have not died. I've simply been missing from Vocal long enough to warrant an obituary.

If Only I Could Meet the Many Versions of Myself . AI-Generated.
Lately, I’ve caught myself wishing for something strange, almost impossible, multiple versions of me. At first, even I didn’t fully understand what I meant by that. It sounded abstract, maybe even dramatic. But the feeling behind it has become clearer with time. Life, right now, doesn’t feel like a rollercoaster. A rollercoaster has pauses, endings, moments where you step off, breathe, and laugh at the intensity of it all. What I’m experiencing feels more like a river rushing down an endless mountain, no stillness, no plateau, just constant motion. And when the mountain doesn’t seem to end, neither does the exhaustion.

Death of a Singular They
"Will this matter?" This is the quintessential question which all authors of various stripes inevitably ask themselves. Put differently, it is only natural for a writer to wonder where they will fall in the greater scope of literature, and whether writing as a craft is not a futile act of shouting into an endless void.

Why Is Global Book Distribution Important for Modern Authors?
There used to be a time when, if you wanted your book in the hands of a reader, you had to either find a publisher or learn the how-to's of business administration and employ-and be employed-and pay for physical copies of your book to the very end of the earth, through a lengthy process called Global Book Distribution. This is no longer the case-though walking or even hopping on a commercial plane in the countries of the world is today more relevant than ever. Understanding global book distribution is the key to a book that finds its audience.

Understanding Intimacy in Relationships
Every relationship or marriage can come across issues in the bedroom. If you have been married for decades and have a satisfying sexual connection; you have won, the lottery. I am not saying that sex is everything in the relationship/marriage however it is a huge percentage of happiness.

Call Me Coward, Not Ishmael
Genuinely I'm at a bit of a loss right now. Not a loss. Let me explain. I have entries for all upcoming challenges and unofficial challenges (besides Tim's and Leslie's, actually, glad I remembered those), and find myself with no real WIP really. Well, that's not true because I have a few shelved WIP that I am sitting on because I don't want to dive into them just yet. Call me a coward, not Ishmael! I don't care.

Rape, Metaphor, and Prophecy in "Leda and the Swan". Content Warning.
In his poem "Leda and the Swan", William Butler Yeats forces the reader to witness the rape of Leda, queen of Sparta, committed by Zeus in the form of a swan, in excruciating detail, thus "erasing any traditional pastoral romanticism associated with classical myth" (Carmichael, 2026).

Why Writers Use Text Case Converters. AI-Generated.
Writing is often viewed as a purely creative process, but experienced writers know that producing quality content involves much more than putting words on a page. Editing, formatting, proofreading, and maintaining consistency are all essential parts of creating professional content.
