Now, I’m here on Medium to connect with writers like you—sharing my experiences, lessons learned, and the realities of making money through writing. The key? Don’t limit yourself to one platform. Each space offers new opportunities to reach different audiences. 2. Consistency is More Important Than Perfection As writers, we often get caught up in the idea of perfection. But the truth is, perfection can be the enemy of progress. I used to spend hours tweaking the same paragraph, convinced it wasn’t good enough. Now, I focus on consistency—posting daily chapters, writing blog posts, and sharing on social media even when it doesn’t feel perfect. Lesson learned: Showing up regularly builds more connections than a “perfect” post ever could. 3. Diversifying Income Streams Making money as a writer isn’t just about book sales.
