Taking Care Of Self
Self-love is the road toward healing. These prompts are an invitation to step inside yourself. Rupi Kaur Self-care is so important. My first sponsor in recovery at age 24 asked me to sell Avon. I didn't know it at the time but that was her attempt to get me to take better care of me. She said, to sell the product it will be important for you to use the product.

Results: Setting That Eats [an unofficial challenge]
THE RESULTS ARE IN! This challenge was quite fun! All of your entries were so interesting to read, and I absolutely adored all of the variety! I try to keep it as open-ended as possible, which of course leads to it being so SO hard to pick a winner. But! I still love the challenge!

Trying To Make My Writing Look Good
Introduction I have written about making our stories a little more pleasant to look at and therefore draw more readers in because they think "Oooh that looks interesting". They might not be tempted by the subject but I still try and captur people's attention.

RE:SURGENCE IS HERE
As soon as the PDF was converted to a shareable link, I think I audibly screamed, "FINALLY!" If you don't remember from the RE:SURGENCE poems, at the bottom of each one, I kept promising that once everything was published, I would be sharing a free, fully formatted PDF for anyone to read or print out.

Story Contest Scam: What Would You Do?
I'm in a pickle, Vocalists. Lend me your wisdom. TL;DR I recently entered a short story contest. There was an entry fee, which I know is fairly standard. I paid extra for judges feedback on my entry. The "feedback" arrived today, and it's not feedback on my submission. It's just generic advice, and feedback on the winning entry. I feel sure that's not what I paid for, and I'm unsure what I want from them, or what to do next.

Elara's Epic Quest: The Lost Stardust Crystal's Magical Revelation
One beginning in the land of Luminaria, the country where lights swirled nightly across the heavens and strange creatures roamed as they wished, promised an adventure young Elara, the light-hearted and tender girl, always kept a weather eye for. One day, while rummaging in her grandmother's attic, she came upon some really old and dusty chest. Inside there was an intricate map shaking with some otherworldly kind of luminescence. Studded with these weird symbols, the map bore a strange inscription locating that which the crystal of fable, the Stardust Crystal, allows. Her heart started to race in apprehension, for it was no scavenger hunt.

Will Kamala Harris win Donald Trump?
Let's take a closer look at Kamala Harris and her chances against Donald Trump. Harris has an impressive background. She served as California's Attorney General and was a U.S. senator. Currently, she holds the position of vice president. She stepped in as the Democratic presidential candidate when Joe Biden dropped out. If she wins, she will make history. Harris would be the first woman, the first Black woman, and the first South Asian-American to hold the presidency. This moment signifies the rise of a cultural phenomenon. To counter the cultural phenomenon that is Donald Trump, a strong figure like Harris is essential.

The Warm Embrace of Self-Acceptance
The Warm Embrace of Self-Acceptance It takes years to build your trust but it takes a moment, a simple rustle of words through the air, a singular action that dwindles the faith we have in someone. Life has always had its flair of shedding and unwavering our realities with the ones we need to embrace, of robbing us of the sturdy land of certainty and plopping us into the ocean of the unknown, stumbling us into the blatant truth of existential being, making us learning the lessons the hard way. While we may fight it or fight through it, at its dimwits we ought to accept the gospel truth, nothing stays the same. Every breath we draw, every tear that we shed, and every smile we dance with, is permanent in its impermanence, it is so immortal and yet so fleeting. Though time and tide wait for no one, the imprints of our joy and melancholy, the life that we lead through the memories that we create through experiencing our mortality for the first and the last time, become infinite savouries and scars that we hold on to, that change us and shape the way we lead ourselves and charge through the world.
