Challenge

Introducing: The Underland Review
We did a thing! A really cool thing. We set out to collect stories and art and voices and we did it. We have been building our website from scratch, and today we released our first issue of The Underland Review. Celia manages to put magic in everything that she does and the design for this zine is no exception (she may not like me saying that but I like to brag about my wife).

India and Pakistan agree to a ceasefire?
In a significant development, India and Pakistan have agreed to a ceasefire along their disputed border in Kashmir. After years of tensions, cross-border clashes and numerous casualties, the agreement has raised cautious optimism. But the key question remains: Will the ceasefire last, or is it just another temporary pause in a long-running conflict? The India-Pakistan rivalry dates back to 1947, when the two countries emerged from British colonial rule. Divided along religious lines, the partition of British India created Pakistan, a Muslim-majority state, and India, a Hindu-majority secular nation. However, the partition was accompanied by widespread violence, mass migration and intense hostilities that continue to this day. The Kashmir issue in particular has been a major point of contention. Both India and Pakistan claim the region in its entirety but control parts of it. This territorial dispute has resulted in three major wars (1947–48, 1965 and 1971), numerous border clashes and an arms race, including nuclear weapons.

William Shakespeare Beyond the Stage: A Journey Through His Poems
How Shakespeare's Poetry Affected Later Writers William Shakespeare is world-famous as the greatest playwright of the English language, but his reputation extends far beyond the stage. His poetry—particularly his sonnets and narrative poems—exhibits a depth of feeling, mastery of language, and philosophical insight that has influenced generations of writers over centuries. While Hamlet, Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet command theatre stages, his poems have quietly shaped the literary world, inspiring poets and novelists.

The Man Who Built His Fortune
In the sun-scorched village of Gopalpur, nestled between dry fields and cracked roads, lived a man named Ravi. He had little to his name—just a mud-walled hut, a pair of worn-out sandals, and calloused hands that told stories of endless labor. Every morning, before the rooster crowed, Ravi was already on the road, searching for work in nearby villages—carrying bricks, sweeping floors, or digging trenches. Whatever paid even a few rupees, he did it without complaint.
