I learnt the lessons of patience, virtue and gratitude from the darkest periods of my life. Life has its ways of embracing us in its wisdom, staggering us into the whirlwinds of challenges and adversities, only to gift us with peonies of hope.

Yes, I am guilty. A month ago, I challenged myself to write a piece a day based on songs. I had my songs chosen at random and numbered. I did so good...for the first two weeks. Then I went on an amazing vacation that I sorely needed and the daily challenged was put to rest.
