STILL ITS INCOMPLETE

INTRODUCTION

By CHRISTOPHERPublished 2 years ago • 2 min read

There comes a point in every person’s life when they feel the need to share their thoughts—those quiet reflections that echo in the chambers of their hearts. It isn’t always easy to open up, especially when the world feels like a maze you’d rather navigate alone. But sometimes, life forces a man to pick up a pen, even when he has no intentions of writing. It’s not about being a writer or a poet; it’s about the unsung stories that shape us.

And here I am, at a crossroads, feeling something I can’t quite explain. A weight that sits on my chest, something that wants to be shared, but I can’t find the courage to say it out loud to the people I know. So, I’ll share it here, with no expectation but the hope that someone might understand. Perhaps this will make sense to you, the stranger who’s reading these words.

I am not a storyteller by nature, nor do I claim to be one. But there are moments in life that change everything—those defining moments that pull you from the shadows of your own mind and demand to be heard. For me, it was love.

It wasn’t just any love, though. It was the kind of love that made me believe in forever, the kind that made me feel as though nothing could ever break the bond. And yet, it did. Through my own mistakes, I lost the person who meant the most to me.

The pain of losing someone who had become a part of your soul is a feeling like no other. But sometimes, the greatest act of love is letting go—allowing them to walk away, even when your heart screams for them to stay. It’s a lesson in selflessness, one I wasn’t prepared for, but one I learned the hard way.

This story isn’t just mine, though. It’s a universal truth about love, loss, and the way we shape our own destiny. Because, in the end, every person should experience love at least once. It’s a force that shapes us, no matter how it begins or how it ends.

And so, I begin my story.

But I won't reveal my name, or theirs. It’s not important—what matters is what I’ve learned, what I’ve lived through. For the sake of this story, call me Christopher.

If you’re still here, if you’re willing to travel with me through the pages of my life, then perhaps you’ll understand what it truly means to lose someone, and what it means to truly love.
