STOLEN LINES:

“ The way the hunger begs and claws, under wires red, raw and wet"

FROM THIS POEM:

I care too much what people think a tattooed tapestry of ink

It feels normal to be scared so I wear my feelings on my sleeve

Where what you get is more confused, so I write each emotion down

The battle rages on inside, where ravaged thoughts are all that’s found

Am I strong, can I be tough will I ever be enough. Settling for what you want to give, a masterpiece they sell as love

Can’t read the writing on the walls

Or remember things I can’t forget

The way the hunger begs and claws, under wires red, raw and wet"

A hoarder lost inside this mess

So many voices here, inside

Round and round and round I guess

Trade sanity for borrowed lies

They say don’t do it then change their minds

The prime suspects of bartered time

A Gypsy soul Without a home

Translucent transient of pain

A beggar borrowing lost souls

Who frequently forgets my namE

My memories feel unreliable

Distorted feelings of revenge

Discounted love deemed irresponsible

The vicious cycle never ends

Until next time, just settle in

Leave a list of your demands

We will revisit this again

When what I feel I understand
