Searching for Those Who Resemble Us
By Mohamed Khalifa Writer, Researcher & Explorer.

Perhaps these words pass by some people casually, but there are also those who consider them with deep contemplation.
They are not just short, ordinary, fleeting words, but rather very profound thoughts that many of us frequently ask ourselves, and I am one of them.
I always ask myself, "Where are those who are like me? Where are they, really? How can I find them? Why haven't I found them? Are we many or few?"
Why do I feel different? Why do I often feel like a stranger in this desolate world that has descended into triviality, hatred, bigotry, and stupidity in a terrifying and indescribable way, until we have become a world adept and professional in shameful and reprehensible traits within the club of planets in our miserable galaxy?
Imagine if this wretched planet Earth were to participate in a galactic competition with other planets to compete for the title of "Most Stupid Planet." It would most likely win first place among the planets of the galaxy. In truth, my intention here is not to preach virtue or claim to be a perfect person in every way (of course not), nor am I a philosopher eager to share my thoughts and theories with you.
In reality, I speak from a purely humanitarian perspective. Humanity is always my primary allegiance, above all else. What I can say honestly, without praising myself or my ideas over others, is that I feel I am a human being who loves all people, regardless of their beliefs, convictions, or ethnic background.
I am a person who loves to treat everyone with respect and humanity. I value and respect the weak, the oppressed, and the most vulnerable groups, and I always strive to stand by them.
I honor the elderly and respect the young (children and youth), giving them the opportunity to speak and express their opinions. I love challenges, adventure, nature, and preserving our beautiful environment. I believe that the earth owns us, not the other way around.
I dream of a world without borders, without intellectual darkness, injustice, violence, or hatred. I dream of all humanity living on one earth, under one sky, without borders separating or dividing us. I dream of a world filled with peace, love, and coexistence among all humankind.
I dream that we will dedicate ourselves to ancient sciences and scientific research to serve humanity, nature, and the earth, not to exploitation and selfishness.
I dream that we will ascend to a higher frequency within humanity, for I am certain that if we do, nature and the earth will reveal their secrets to us, and we will be amazed by the knowledge and mysteries they will impart.
Then, they will bestow upon us a luminous energy and power that will elevate us to a higher and more sublime frequency for our troubled world.
These are all dreams I constantly imagine, and I hope we can all live them together in reality. Is there anyone who shares this dream? I am certain that there are many around the world like me, and many more who are better than me, wiser, more knowledgeable, and more learned. This is what I hope to meet and find them someday.
Perhaps some with narrow perspectives see us as somewhat complicated individuals, always holding a book and pen wherever we go, wearing old-fashioned clothes, unconcerned with our appearance, speaking with arrogance, wearing glasses, and looking at people in an unnatural way.
Unfortunately, this is how they are portrayed in some dramas and films, or how they imagine intellectuals, thinkers, philosophers, and writers based on their own miserable societies and environments.
I want to say to such people that we love you and want you to see the reality of our world through the lens of freedom, love, tolerance, coexistence, and peace, and to understand the true nature of the universe, the world, the earth, and the nature that surrounds us, and the true nature of humanity and its connection to the mystery of this great earth.
I assure you that those who are like us are, in reality, among the most cheerful and joyful people, experts at experiencing moments of happiness and delight.
We embrace adventure and challenge with passion, joy, and love; we enjoy leisure time with pure delight; and we experience sadness silently, reflecting on its wisdom and causes. We unconsciously give each situation its due time, its rightful place, and its own unique pleasure.
Those like us—creative, humane thinkers with pure hearts (very natural people)—live naturally and spontaneously, with genuine emotions that resonate with every event.
What makes us different is that we live every moment with sincerity and authentic, unpretentious feelings. This is what sets us apart from others.
Seek out the genuine, not the fake. Never confuse the real with the fake. How many people claim virtue and good qualities, preaching them while in reality wearing a mask of falsehood, deceit, cunning, and trickery? I will tell you here about things and situations If a writer or author.
I will tell you here about matters and situations that I experienced in reality and not from the imagination of a writer or author. When I was about to bid farewell to childhood and then became a university student and lived the beginning of youth, dreams and ambitions, my passion for freedom, tolerance, coexistence, justice and the rule of law haunted me, especially since I was born and raised in the land of Egypt, the land of challenges, the land of goodness, the land of civilization, history, ancient sciences and secrets that we know nothing about until now.
During those beautiful times, I shared noble and legitimate dreams and aspirations with my fellow students. These were genuine feelings and emotions from pure young people whose hearts and personalities were not tainted by falsehood, cunning, or deceit.
We were genuine young people and students, sincere in our feelings and dreams. But unfortunately, as time passed, our innocence and the sincerity of our feelings were exploited by the merchants of false freedom and human rights, or those who call themselves human rights activists and the owners of human rights centers and institutions, including research, legal, and awareness centers, and so on.
This shock was no small thing for a young man still at the beginning of his journey of discovering the world around him.
It was truly a powerful and impactful shock that revealed to me the fake, hypocritical, and corrupt people who, unfortunately, found those who listened to them, believed them, and funded them to continue down the path of falsehood and deception in the name of virtue, human rights, freedoms, and attempts to help the most vulnerable groups, among other false and deceptive slogans.
After my initial shock, fate led me to work near the circles and communities of charitable and humanitarian centers and institutions.
I thought to myself then that it was a good thing to be close to these wonderful humanitarian efforts, and I was very happy at the time, as I am someone who loves working to serve humanity and those who need support of any kind, whether material, psychological, or advisory.
However, as I moved closer to this field, I was struck by a second, devastating shock that radically changed my life and way of thinking, especially when I became very close to most of those working in this field, those in positions of power and decision-making in this humanitarian work.
I discovered that many of them were also fake and insincere, claiming to help the vulnerable and receiving large donations and funds to implement seemingly purposeful humanitarian programs and projects, but behind the scenes, there were indescribable calamities, deceit, and corruption. In truth, I have a great deal more to say about these points, but this space and article don't allow for a full discussion ,They require books, not just an article. These past years have been but a small part of my research and travels around the world, exploring life, the earth, and humanity.
Finally, and to avoid prolonging this further, I want to share a moment of reflection that frequently occurs to me, a kind of internal dialogue.
From time to time, I ponder deeply and ask myself, "Why do corrupt, deceitful, and wicked people with sick, selfish souls always find those who help them, stand by them, and even support them and those who are like them so easily?"
This truly makes me wonder about this matter. Are they really so numerous, or are they simply lucky, with a twist of fate that allows them to perpetuate their corruption, selfishness, and great success among themselves, to the point that they now control so many important matters, issues, and topics in our world? On the other side, we, the weak and unfortunate, the truly humane, creative thinkers, stand—unlucky, scattered, and dispersed around the world, closed off from one another, unwilling to be seen in this wretched world. Sadly, some of us have even lost hope.
Finally, I want to conclude by saying that I am holding on and haven't lost hope yet. I have faith that I will meet others like myself someday, but all I pray is that this day doesn't come too late, because I am truly exhausted.
