"Punctuation, who knows all the rules."

Punctuation is it really necessary at all times, especially that pesky comma that you place in one sentence that really should not belong there and they call it a comma splice. Then there are those things they call quotation marks to denote who or what is speaking. There are plenty more punctuation marks like the ellipses, parentheses, ampersands, asterisks which are hardly used it seems unless you are some kind of technical writer or really any kind of writer. Then we have our standards that are used all the time like the period, question mark and exclamation mark. I guess punctuation is really necessary if one wants to be a writer or teacher or really any profession if one wants to get their correct message across for if there were no punctuation everything would be one long sentence. Punctuation does serve a purpose.

noting when someone takes a breath while reading when necessary and

concentrating

totally on

utilizing the rules that

all the

teachers and writers

instinctively

offers us to increase our understanding of the write/right words

naturally.
