Poppy’s Prompts | #13

Hello Vocalites,

After a significant break from my prompts, I'm back with a new one. This is somewhat different from the last twelve.

Once again, I'll be giving you a list of prompts (Greek Mythology related) but I only want you to write about one prompt per poem. You can have as many entries as you want but I would like one prompt only to be the main focus of the poem. You can have the prompt be literal or metaphorical, overt or subtle but I want the poem to be inspired by the prompt.

The final day to submit your poems will be July 31 (AEST). I will decide on the first three places sometime after this. I've been pretty inconsistent on Vocal lately so don't worry if I don't read your poems straight away, I'll get there eventually.

Make sure to share a link to your poem in the comment section to make sure I include it in the list of entries. I'd appreciate if you'd share a link to this story somewhere in your entry but it isn't required.
