This story is written by Mary Higgins Clark and is a novel of George and Martha Washington. The author has shared through research some historical facts of this first family of the US from their younger days to the end of George's presidency. It's a fictional account of their lives for even though the historical events were dramatized a little. It is a book of their relationships from their various parents and other relations to the people they met in their adult lives and the memories they lived, endured, survived and now remember till the end of their lives together.
