Results for my Unofficial Challenge

By Liam StormPublished 2 years ago β€’ 1 min read

Hi all,

First of all I want to say a massive thank you to the 8 entrants with their 9 entries! My partner and I have enjoyed each and every one of them and I plan on doing another challenge soon! Choosing a top 3 was very difficult, we had to go with a rating system out of 10, every single entry could have made it into the top 3, but between myself and my partner we had to make a decision.

Anyway, onto the good stuff! As promised I will tip the top 3, I will tip at the same time as posting, so you should have the tips already.

1st place ($5 tip) - The Early Battle for Sentient Earth - Rachel Deeming - Really well written, enjoyed reading it, captured me from start to finish, loved the descriptions and the changes in perspective.

2nd place ($3 tip) - The Atlantic Settlement - Donna Fox - Very well written, earthquakes underwater are often overlooked and this story really plays on it. Loved the narrative and the how this was written.

3rd place ($2 tip) - An Awakened Mother's Rage - Matthew Spinelli - Well written, enjoyed the excerpts from multiple sources and how well this story flowed.

The other entries are as follows:

Thanks again everyone. We truly enjoyed each and every one of these. Congrats on the winners and I look forward to hosting another challenge soon!
