Noelia Voigt, a resident of Utah, has officially been crowned as the new Miss USA in a glamorous ceremony held in Reno, Nevada. The crowning event took place at the Grand Sierra Resort on a Friday night and was broadcasted live on the CW Network. Savannah Gankiewicz, who represented Hawaii, secured the prestigious position of first-runner-up.

At the age of 23, Noelia Voigt emerged victorious among a field of 50 other state titleholders who participated in the highly competitive pageant. The television competition commenced with a pool of contestants that was gradually narrowed down to 20 finalists. Following the swimwear and evening gown rounds, the selection was further refined to a final group of five outstanding contestants. This select group included Noelia Voigt, Savannah Gankiewicz, Jasmine Daniels from Pennsylvania, Lluvia Alzate from Texas, and Alexis Loomans from Wisconsin.

During the final Q&A round, when questioned about her potential contributions as a "brand ambassador" for the Miss Universe Organization and as Miss USA, Noelia Voigt emphasized her unique identity as a "bilingual Venezuelan-American" and expressed her commitment to establishing meaningful connections with diverse communities across the United States.

The panel of judges for this prestigious event included renowned figures such as Vivica A. Fox, former "Real Housewives" cast member Luann de Lesseps, and popular beauty vlogger Patrick Starrr.

The Miss USA Organization, under the leadership of its President and CEO Laylah Rose, aimed to infuse a contemporary and forward-thinking perspective into a tradition that has spanned 70 years. This vision was set forth in an official statement released at the beginning of September.

One notable feature of this year's Miss USA event was the inclusion of a married state titleholder, Juliana Morehouse-Locklear from Maine, marking a significant shift in regulations by the Miss Universe Organization. It's worth mentioning that despite her familial connection to a participant in the 1994 Miss USA pageant, Juliana Morehouse-Locklear did not progress to the top 20 finalists.

The victory of the 2022 Miss USA pageant, which saw Noelia Voigt crowned as the winner, was marred by allegations made by some fellow contestants who claimed that the pageant had been manipulated in her favor. Following her crowning in October 2022, the Miss Universe Organization, the parent company of Miss USA, initiated an investigation and suspended the then-Miss USA national director, Crystle Stewart, who had previously won the Miss USA pageant herself in 2008. Additionally, her company, Miss Brands, faced suspension.

All parties involved, including Noelia Voigt, Crystle Stewart, and other officials, strongly denied the accusations. In an interview with E! News, Noelia Voigt stated unequivocally, "There was no unfair advantage, and nothing was rigged." Crystle Stewart, in a statement, reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to ensuring equal opportunities for all contestants, saying, "The last thing I would ever want to do is discredit or deny the contestants an equal opportunity to a fair competition. I would never jeopardize my dream of running an organization that empowers these young women."

In August, the Miss USA pageant announced the termination of its partnership with Crystle Stewart. A statement confirmed the results of a comprehensive investigation that had found the accusations against the pageant to be false, saying, "After much discussion and consideration, the Miss Universe Organization and Crystle were unable to reach an agreement regarding Crystle and Miss Brand's continued involvement... Crystle has chosen to utilize the success she has achieved with the Miss USA Organization to pursue other entrepreneurial endeavors."

On a Thursday evening at the prestigious Grand Sierra Resort, the title of Miss Teen USA was bestowed upon UmaSofia Srivastava, a 16-year-old resident of New Jersey. Stephanie Skinner, a 19-year-old hailing from New York, secured the honorable position of first-runner-up.
