Lucy Score

Lucy Score is a writer of a series known as 'The Benevolence Series' that is comprised of three novels. They are Book One- Pretend You're Mine; Book Two- Finally Mine; and Book Three- Protecting What's Mine. All three novels are great fun to read if you like family stories mixed with romance.

Book One or 'Pretend Your Mine' is all about a woman by the name of Harper and how she meets Luke who is a man that thinks he is better off by himself but feels the loneliness of losing his wife and child till he meets Harper and the fun begins.

Book Two or 'Finally Mine' is about Aldo and Gloria friends for Harper and Luke. This is the story of how Aldo deals with what happens in his life after a time in Afghanistan. Gloria is a woman who was an abused wife for many years and must learn that is a person of importance.

These first two books really go together for scenes in this book will coincide with the first book.

Book Three or 'Protecting What's Mine' is really about Lincoln Reed the town's fire chief and his relationship with the new doctor in town by the name of Mackenzie O'Neil who has a few familial issues to deal with along with how to deal with civilian life after a military career as a flight surgeon.

All of these books are interrelated in a few ways. Luke and Aldo are friends and military who meet Harper and Gloria who become friends when Harper tries to protect Gloria from her drunk husband. Even in the very beginning Harper falls for Luke in so many ways even with the issues that Luke has. Aldo and Gloria knew each other in high school, but a few years separated them then, but they stayed friends. Moving on to Lincoln and MacKenzie fire chief meets doctor during a highway accident and the fun begins. This is a series of family and friends that will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next with them. Happy reading.
