Assignment: "Write about five of your favourite writers on Vocal."

Lizz "Hunny" Chambers:

Why??? The way she writes about the people in her stories are so vivid, realistic, and packed full of essence that you would think they were cousins or neighbors. She has a delicious way with words and honesty. She writes about real-life struggles and doesn't leave flaws out at all. I could not get enough of her series in Chapters. You really owe it to yourself to get acquainted with this gem! She shines.

Rick Henry Christopher:

Why??? Rick has brought me so much joy and laughter along with Miss Gloria Cupidon! And he has shared his love for music with us all, bringing back memories and getting us to interact with him. Although he and I have butted heads politically at times, we have developed a deep respect for one another, too. No opinion has been expressed maliciously. He is a very creative artist and a great asset to the Vocal community!

Rachel Deeming:

Why??? Come on, let's admit it. We all want to be just like Rachel when we grow up! I know when I first started participating in Vocal, I quickly found her to be 100% legit as a skilled writer. I knew I wanted to read every piece of hers so I could learn from her. She has a very profound way to reach hearts and minds with a concise and perfect flow. My hero! This is the gal to follow, friends.

Kelli Sheckler-Amsden:

Why??? Kelli and I go way back on Vocal. I was quickly drawn to her beautiful poetry. I see flavors and colors and scents all wrapped up in the beautiful essence of her heart. And to be honest, poetry has never been my thing, but Kelli caused me to love it and find the magical and the possibles in her woven words. She has also added stories to her repertoire lately which are just as beckoning.

Tim Carmichael:

Why??? Because I love a great story that feels like a heartwarming true-life movie being watched. Like Jack London wrote about the Klondike, Tim writes about his passion and love for the Appalachian where he grew up. His heart never left it and now he shares that with us. He is also a history buff like I am, so I'm all-in on Tim!
