Lit Lit Word Game Directory
Numbered games and results from players
I’m sure everyone remembers Mad Libs, the absolute best play in the car on long trips game ever. The concept is simple: words are omitted from a passage of writing, and the players fill them with any word that’s the same part of speech. One person records, simply stating what part of speech is needed. After filling in all of the omitted words, the person recording reads the passage from beginning to end. Think Jabberwockyesque.
I’ve made six game pages so far, all from public domain literature. I include all of the variations in my results postings, along with a link to their profile. If you want to play an old one, just put your list in the comments, and I’ll reply with your finished package. I enjoy thinking on a word level then watching it grow into something larger.
