Keeping Motivation Moving Confounds Me

How to break through?

By Gabriel B. ShamesPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

So I’m coming up on my 200th story here, and I must say it seems like diminishing returns now. I’m sure a lot of you can relate, and if you have any advice, please comment.

But it’s not about the result, it’s about the motivation to continue with the same momentum.

I have the same dedication and vision of publishing a coffee-table book, a novel, and a collection of interconnected stories.

At least I think I do. But again it’s hard when confronted with the so-called “real world.” I guess every writer has dealt with this.

I hear about the law of attraction, where we should not “visualize” the best outcome but embody it. Live like you’ve already achieved it.

No matter how much I hear about it, it’s still completely difficult to understand.

So I feel like first I have to get that off my chest first. Again, let me know what you’re dealing with and what you think. Thank you in advance.
