I crave love and the affection of another but crumble at the thought of someone seeing through me.
Past my skin and facades.
Past my walls and everything I’ve built to hide myself away.
To touch me past my skin.
Letting them see and feel my soul and heart.
Afraid they too will hurt me like the others.
I wonder.
What it’s like to feel such deep love for someone.
I crave that love, but run at the slightest moment of it.
I wonder.
