I’m a Nepali Sloth Trying to Make 10 Lakh in 10 Days

One lazy student, one laptop, and a wild mission to make 10 lakh in just 10 days.

Day 1: I woke up with a goal that would make most people laugh—or panic. I wanted to earn 10 lakh rupees in 10 days. Not because I had a genius plan. Not because I’m rich. But because I was bored… and a little desperate.

I’m a typical Nepali student with a laptop, internet, and too much time. I don’t like going out. I scroll, I snack, I nap. You could say I’m a sloth. Not the jungle one—just a human one with slow motivation and fast Wi-Fi.

So I did what any clueless dreamer does—I Googled “how to make 10 lakh fast.”

The results?

"Start a business."

"Become a dropshipping king."

"Sell your kidney in the black market."

Thanks, internet. Very helpful.

I spent all of Day 1 reading about freelancing. But everyone’s already a freelancer. Some have 5-star reviews, video intros, skills I can’t spell. I got tired just reading their bios. So I slept. Productivity level: 0.

Day 2:

New mindset. I gave up on clients. I didn’t want to be someone’s virtual puppet. I just wanted to write. So I searched:

"Websites that pay you for writing freely."

I found Vocal.Media.

No boss. No rejection emails. Just write and post.

Perfect for a lazy sloth like me.

I wrote this post you're reading right now. Honest, unfiltered, and maybe a little ridiculous.

But that’s the point.

I may not hit 10 lakh. I may not even hit 1 rupee.

But if someone reads this and smiles—even for a second—I’ve earned something.
