Nokia XR21 Limited Edition debuts to mark the start of his EU production
October 3, 2023
As promised earlier this year, HMD Global is currently manufacturing his 5G smartphones in Europe, specifically Hungary, and the first smartphone to roll off the assembly line is the limited edition Nokia XR21. HMD ordered an initial batch of just 50 devices, of which only 30 were sold. Each phone is engraved with a unique series number and comes with its own limited edition box in Frosted Platinum color.
Announced in May, the Nokia XR21 features a rugged design with military-grade MIL-STD-810H and IP69K certification (the highest IP protection against water and dust).

The phone features a 6.49-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The XR 21 is powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset and features a 64 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide module. The device has a 4,800mAh battery, 33W charging power, and runs Android 12.
The limited edition Nokia XR 21 is priced at €699/£599 in Germany, France, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Finland and the UK. HMD will later release the regular Nokia XR 21 in black for €649/£549.

Great phone, I use it every day. I'm glad he's stuck with an IPS LCD display rather than the AMOLED displays that most devices use these days. The LCD is much better in my eyes and it's hard to find a better phone that works this well
