Alofoke Trahison or Deception ?

Nowadays a lot of Haitian influencers are talking about him, we can say his name takes a place among the haitian community to desappear in the blank of an eye.

Esmelin santiago Garcia alias Alofoke, he is dominican influencer born in Dominican republic, Santo Domingo the capital, on december 06 1981.  His father was a radio host named santiago Matias Rojas alias Don Santi and the mother’s name is denise Penia alias Donia Ada.  

His father did not take care of him, his grand mother (Mom's Mother) was trying to help the new baby with his mother that got only 15 years old during the pregnancy. But the grand mother’s help was not enough. To get a better life, Donia Ada went to Haiti where she lived during 3 years and worked in a hairsalon in Petion-Ville.  It was a go and forth between Haiti and Dominican Republic because Donia Ada was working in Haiti but she is dominican and Alofoke was living in Dominican Republic.  

It was not easy but Alofoke finished High school and Started College to study computing science, unfortunatelly he was not graduated...

He was a singer, singing rap music and one of his famous music «Me siento solo» is the one that will help him to continue his career.

But What about the name Alofoke, where it comes from ?

In 2006 Matias fouded a business and named it Alofoke Music to promote latino musics.

Now what does it mean Alofoke ? According to Matias, Alofoke means doing something without any preparation for it or not be prepared enough to do it.

After the success he made on Alofoke Music, he decided to build an online to continue promoting latino music.

Spide of all the success stories and business models behind Alofoke, we have to say in 2010 he was arrested by DNCD ( a police department for drug enforcement) because of his implication to drug traffic. His mafia group use to send drugs to Italy and Spain. They got a geniune method by using horses, they insert the drug into them then get them shipped to Europe, once arrived, they take the drug back. Alofoke was denied a US visa in 2010 for that.

But , now you are maybe asking why an ancient dominican drug dealer and now influencer keeps the headline among the haitian community ?

Haiti and Dominican republic are two different countries that share the island of Hispaniola but between the two people it does not exist a true friendship. Then after a match of football that was considered as the island derby every single tale and horns of Alofoke will be showed up. The hostility was very high and even asking to put Haiti back to slavery. Some days on his X account He said «Hi every body, except Haitians». he bacame insane and fool even morron on his public speech. But spide of all He’s running for presidency and hope really to be elected as a president even though a lot organizations that are advocate to respect moral values and families have many times asked the government to close his show on Youtube «casa de Alafoke» due to vulgarities and speeches that are against the moral values, nothing has done yet by the government.  

Haiti is a soverign country and no one has the right to attack the soverignty of any country. Haiti fed Alofoke when he was a little boy, now he wants Haiti to be back in slavery. It is always a deception for businessman when they lose a market but it is also a trahison when someone wants to bite the hand that helped him.
