If God appeared to you in a series of vivid and moving dreams and told you to leave everything behind, travel alone to the Red Sea, and become a fisherman, what would you do? What if you were told to sacrifice your child? Gregory Stock, PH.D

A dream can be like whipped cream

smooth and creamy and delicious to dream

Some are not so much like that and can frighten

while others can bring thought and enlighten.

It may be something I would dream while on drugs or in a mental health condition, but I very seldom remember my dreams, so that would be so unusual that I would go to a medicine man for help and maybe a dream interpreter.

But first I would talk to a pharmacist about the pills I'm taking and have my medications reviewed for side effects or bad interactions from the pills I am on. And maybe have a neuropsychological exam to see if something is going on with my brain.

There would be no way I would sacrifice my child. I know that is a bible story, but my God would not ask such a thing. That would be the most suspicious and call for an investigation of my mental health especially. I know people that have voices telling them to hurt others.

Thankfully, the people I have met, have gotten help.

What is your most treasured memory? Gregory Stock, PH.D

The birth of my children. Falling in love. My first and third wedding. My grandchildren. There are so many treasured memories. If it was one memory, it would be seeing my children for the first time.

Have you ever hated anyone? If so, why and for how long? Gregory Stock, PH.D

One day a young man that worked for me said, "You are prejudice against half of the world." He went on to explain that I would never let him babysit when his girlfriend couldn't and that meant that I was prejudice against men.

At the time, I was maybe 25 years old. He was 16 or 17. I said that doesn't mean that, it just means I was sexually abused by a male babysitter. He said, "Maybe, but it seems like more than that." Today, I know that teens know everything, but then I thought he may be right.

Then I talked to an older wiser woman and she said why do you think he might be right. I told her that I had more abusive situations than that one with the babysitter and it was all men and it is possible that I hate all men. I told her that right now I hate my husband as he can't sober up.

She asked me if I thought it was all men? I said, "No, but I don't trust them. I don't want those feelings for my son, my brothers, my male friends, God, or my husband."

She told me to pray for my husband first for 2 weeks, asking for him, what I want for myself. I asked her if it has to be nice words? She asked what I meant and I told her, "Can I say, take care of that asshole?" She said yes, because God knows where I am at in my thoughts anyway.

That day I started and I started with "God, please take care of that asshole."

It wasn't long until I had dropped the asshole, and was asking for him, what I wanted for myself. It worked. Then I started with the babysitter. I have learned to do that with any resentment that comes along. Male or female.
