Getting Ready

Believe it or not I am getting ready for my first ever cruise and the destination is the Belize, Cozumel and beyond. This is supposed to be a very early Christmas present to me from my first niece and her husband. I now have a passport, all the necessary paperwork on my cell phone in which to get onboard. I have been on ships before, but they were of the military brand, and I do know that there is a big difference for cruise ships are just like big hotels on water.

This is my first cruise and looking forward to it. This is my first vacation trip on a ship for I have had airplane trips to several areas like Virginia. I guess the only mode of transportation that would be interesting would be a train trip across the nation or something like that. I am a little nervous for the last nine years and caring for my dog I will miss her for a whole week. I have left her a few times, but it was only for two or three days not a whole week. I hope she lets the dog sitter take her out. I do believe we told them that she does not like thunder and lightning so really if she does not want to go out don't force her. The last time I did go on a vacation to Galveston years ago she would not eat for a few days, but she did I was told did drink and eat a few doggie treats. I hope she does better now. Miss Pokey is my best friend and while I am gone, she will have to stay in my room for my sister's little cocker spaniel will not leave her alone and they will tear up the place when let alone together. Even though after all that I am looking forward to going on this trip.
