Does Your Partner Respect You In The Bed?
Just a few points to remember and get a long-lasting relationship
How much a guy truly cares for you goes hand in hand with how much respect he shows for you. If you’re starting a new relationship and you’re still unsure about his degree of affection for you, there are some telltale signs you must pay attention to, especially in bed.
He kisses your head
He leans down and gently presses his lips to your forehead, leaving a soft and warm kiss on your head. Giving a little kiss is a sign of big love because he doesn’t have to do it.
He’s patient when you’re hesitant about trying something new
It’s admirable how much he respects your boundaries and doesn’t force you to do something you’re not comfortable with. Trying new things in the bedroom can be daunting, but instead of getting upset or angry about your hesitation, he patiently waits for you to be ready.
He takes your feelings into account
This concept is as important in the bedroom as it is anywhere else. If you’re feeling sad or distant because of problems you two have been having, making love might not be the easiest thing to do. He is ready to give you time — both verbally and with affectionate caresses — and makes you comfortable before and during sex.
He listens to your input
Sexual compatibility requires communication and compromise. If you communicate your desires and he listens, he’ll act accordingly. It means he respects and cares for you enough to put in the extra effort.
He knows the difference between screwing around and making love
If your partner knows the difference and makes you feel comfortable. Then he is your true partner and is not just for sex with you. This delicate line should be felt by you to have a strong and safe connection.
The emotional connection in sex is not just the icing on the cake; it’s what creates the sense of safety that allows for spontaneity, openness, and erotic play.
Does he speak about his feelings?
A guy who truly shows respect during sex will have no problem telling you he does. If at some point before, during, or after your sexy time he tells you what he loves about you or why he thinks you’re so amazing, he’s a keeper.
And that doesn’t mean he just tells you how pretty you are, it’s when he admires your personality and your character. That’s the difference between a guy who loves and respects you and a guy who’s just getting his fix.
This works both ways. Clap for clap, so please check your intentions as well and respect your partners. Emotional connection is the demand for a happier and long-lasting relationship.
