A rupture
as in a pipe or
a rapture: ἁρπαγησόμεθα
translates to “we will be caught up”
and as this was happening, as we
became closer in age, mind, temperament,
as I shared your mirrored image
mirroring—
a rupture became a rapture
and that look of discomfort frozen
on the face I kissed.
