AI VS Music 🎶

Music 🎵, is a love language, that is here to help in so many ways. It has a well diversified portfolio of different styles that is there to work for you when you need it most. Like Joyful Music, it is there. Happy Music, it is there. Motivational Music, it is there. Encouraging Music, it is there. even Mama Said knock you out, old school back in the day, Music is there.

It’s something that doesn’t care who you are, where you are from, or how much money you have. It is a feeling that is always there to give you a big hug, and put a smile on your face.

It’s just, All around the world music you can count on. Now the way we listen to music, has definitely changed. It used to be back in the day we were listening through 8-track, Vinyl Records, Cassette Tapes, CDs, iPods and now Streaming. wow it feels like I’m old 😂.

You have Gospel Music, Hip Hop Music, Country Music, Bluegrass Music, Jazz Music, R&B Music and so much more. But now things are changing. When you listen to music you know that it’s real. You know the artist that is singing it. Even if you do not know them personally, it feels like you do because you have been listening to their music for a lifetime, going to their concerts and buying their memorabilia.

But now that artificial intelligence (AI) has showed up, and definitely about to show out in ways we can’t even imagine. The music industry as we know it, might be in serious trouble. Like new songs being released from artists that are passed on. Albums being created without artists that are still living being in the studio, or recording them. Are if an artist were paid to make a song or an album and decide they do not like the deal or the terms of the contract and wanted to quit, the record label. The record label would still have leverage, because they could just take the unfinished product and hire AI to finish the rest of it, and there you go, the single or album is finished. A lot of artists pays there bills and truly lives off of there music, which is the royalties that comes from it.

Regulators, has to move fast and fix this to help bring artificial intelligence under control, because not only could it bankrupt the economy, but it could create a problem to where artists would not have control or the rights of their own music. Even making Master copies of Music could be worthless, because it could be cloned through AI.

Music is a precious asset, that has been around for a very long time. And we have to, by all means necessary, do all that we can to protect it. With artists, musicians and even listeners, All standing together, the power stays with us. Because we know music, we listen to music, music is a part of us that has been passed down from generation to generation. And although AI will always be around, as long as we hold the key, we will always control AI Not AI controlling Music.

AI doesn't care, it is only there to do a job, and that job is whatever it was told to do. In other words, it has nothing to gain, and nothing to lose. It has no bills to pay, it has no family to take care of. It's just a machine with a task. But artists and the entire music industry have family's, to take care of, and they definitely have bills to pay. And they would like their money, so that they can do all the things that they need to do and want to do.

Like have lights and water and a roof over their heads, and be able to go on vacation with their families. As for AI, it's a service that can be helpful and used in great ways. But the artist and writers should always keep the control and their rights respected and appreciated because at the end of the day it's their music not AI music.
