halloween tale

North, South, East and West the fog was getting thicker and thicker as I was walking. There was a chill to the air, but I was not feeling cold. I had to stop for a little while and get my bearings for I seemed to be walking in circles, then I heard it. It wasn't a growl, but a whispering. I listened closer. It is a whispering. I started walking again and I heard the word 'Beware'. Stopping for a minute I answered in a whisper "What?" "Why?" The fog seemed to be thinning out and I could see further.
