A Lonely Tree, A Silent Cry

A Heart Too Heavy to Speak

By Mohammad FaraghiPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read
A lonely Tree

There are times when you hate yourself so much that you start doubting your own existence . you deny your being and see your absence as better than your presence.

Like this lonely tree, waiting for the water that never moves , As if it no longer wants to return.

There are times when you want to scream from the depths of your heart and cry, but you can't.

I'm tired of being unable to do things, tired of the sadness, tired of the complaints. And all I can do is lean on a moment of solitude with God.

Where is the one I love? The one who is upset with me. I know they are upset because of me, because of the person I have become . I love them, and I can't bear their sadness.

It feels like I only make them more upset , more and more every day. The days when they are happy and laughing have become so few. Thanks to me, mostly because of me, this has happened.

I have no face left to show. Every day when I look at myself, I seem more broken, more drained, less patient.

I have no strength left for anything.
