We've compiled a list of the world's 20 most expensive cars. There's something to be said about the presence and power that high-priced automobiles demand.

You'll turn a lot of heads if you drive one of these tough boys!

The following list of cars and figures was compiled from various online sources, including Wikipedia, Beautiful Life, and Motor1.

20. Aston Martin Valkyrie

Price: $2.6 million

The first car on our list that was created through a collaboration between many manufacturers.

Aston Martin, a British car manufacturer, teamed up with Red Bull Racing and several other manufacturers to produce this beast!

It was designed as a track-oriented road car and is presently the world's fastest street-legal vehicle.

It's powered by a Cosworth-tuned 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with 1,130 horsepower!

Only 150 road cars are produced.

19. La Ferrari FXX K

Price: $2.7 million

Designed by Marco Fainello, Flavio Manzoni, and architect Evan Rodriguez, the FXX K is based on the road-legal LaFerrari.

The Ferrari FXX K is a research and development car. The K stands for kinetic energy recovery system (KERS), which is utilized to maximize performance.

Between 2015 and 2017, Ferrari created 40 cars, which are now stored and maintained by the company and accessible for their owners to use on track days.

18. Koenigsegg Jesko

The Koenigsegg Jesko is a limited-edition mid-engine sports car that made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019. Jesko is a tribute to Jesko von Koenigsegg, the company's founder's father.

The Jesko is a high-performance track racing automobile with a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 1,281 horsepower on regular gasoline and 1,603 horsepower on premium gasoline (E85).

The Jesko is priced at $2.8 million US dollars.

17. Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio

The Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio is ranked seventeenth.

The Pininfarina Sergio was first revealed as a concept car at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

It was a memorial to the company's previous chairman and famed automobile designer Sergio Pininfarina, who died just a year prior.

The Ferrari 458 Spider served as inspiration for the design. Only six were made, and they were all sold to a group of wealthy people.

16. Bugatti Veyron by Mansory Vivere

What a beauty!

The Bugatti Veyron Mansory Vivere, a limited edition model, is absolutely stunning.

The automobile is based on the Grand Sports Vitesse Roadster and boasts a 1,200 horsepower 8.0 L W16 engine.

It's one of the world's fastest cars, and the original model was named Car of the Decade from 2000 through 2009.

It ranks eighth on our list of most costly cars, with a top speed of 253 mph.

15. Lykan Hypersport

Wow... just take a look at it!

There are no words to convey how wonderful this is.

It's the result of a collaboration between Lebanese and Italian engineers at W Motors, a Lebanese automaker.

The HyperSport was the world's first automobile with diamond-encrusted headlights (15cts).

Rubies, yellow diamonds, and sapphires were also available to buyers.

The 3.8-litre twin-turbo engine delivers 780 horsepower and 708 pound-feet of torque from its mid-rear location.

With all of that power, the car is capable of reaching speeds of up to 240 mph!

14. Pagani Huayra BC

The Pagani Huayra BC is a genuinely epic automotive achievement and one of the most expensive automobiles ever manufactured.

Pagani has doubled the power, improved the chassis and brakes, and introduced a new 7-speed transverse gearbox, all of which are inspired by the Zonda R.

Benny Caiola, one of Pagani's first investors, was also the first Pagani customer and a close friend of the creator.

It's easy to see how this supercar can reach speeds of 261 mph with a 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 engine!

13. Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport

The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is a limited-edition automobile with only 60 units produced.

It was unveiled to the public for the first time in March 2020, and it's just a more maneuverable version of the standard Chiron. It's lighter (50kg) and more aerodynamic than the original, with front and rear anti-roll bars.

The Chiron Pur Sport is the world's 16th most expensive car, with a price tag of $3.6 million.

12. McLaren P1 LM

Price: $3.7 million

The McLaren P1 LM is essentially a street-legal variant of the McLaren P1 GTR, which is only available for track use. The original P1 was purchased by Lanzante, a British company, and converted for sale.

In total, six LMs were created. The prototype P1 LM, codenamed 'XP1 LM,' was sold to private buyers, and the sixth, codenamed 'XP1 LM,' is presently being used for research and testing.

The P1 LM has a larger twin-turbocharged V8 engine than the P1 and P1 GTR, yet it has a top speed of only 214 mph!

The P1 LM is the world's 12th most expensive car, with a price tag of $3.7 million.

11. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+

Price: $3.9 million

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ is one of only 30 cars produced, and it represents more than simply another fine example of Bugatti craftsmanship.

Bugatti was the first automobile manufacturer to reach 300 mph on a German racetrack. The vehicle that did it was a modified Bugatti Chiron that reached 304.77 mph.

As a result, Bugatti opted to build and sell only a few number of these upgraded Chiron cars, which include a tweaked version of the original car's quad-turbo 8.0-litre W16 engine, which produces 1,578bhp.

The price for the 30 models of Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ started at $3.9 million USD.

10. Lamborghini Sian

The Lamborghini Sian was produced in a limited run of 63 automobiles, all of which have been sold. The Lamborghini Sian is a hybrid supercar with a 6.5-liter V12 engine and an additional electric motor.

This is Lamborghini's first hybrid vehicle, and each vehicle will be personalized to the owner's wishes.

The Sian was originally sold for $4 million USD.

9. Lamborghini Veneno Roadster

The toxic Veneno from Lamborghini makes the top ten.

Veneno means "venom" or "poison" in Spanish, and the automobile exudes a lethal aura.

The Veneno, based on the Aventador, was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show to commemorate Lamborghini's 50th anniversary.

It has a top speed of 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and is one of the world's most costly production automobiles!

8. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

Because the CCXR Trevita was supposed to be limited to only three units, Koenigsegg opted to make it even more unique by limiting the quantity to only two.

A diamond weave carbon fibre finish, a unique double carbon rear wing, an inconell exhaust system, carbon ceramic brakes with ABS, and a tire monitoring system are just a few of the features.

It can reach a top speed of 254 miles per hour!

7. Pagani Huayra Imola

Price: $5.4 million

The Pagani Huayra Imola, which is limited to only five production units, is the world's seventh most expensive car. It was first unveiled in September of this year, and Pagani has since released further technical information.

The Imola's twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 engine, designed expressly for Pagani by Mercedes-AMG, now produces 827 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque, outperforming the Huayra BC.

The Imola is listed for €5 million ($5.41 million USD) on the market.

6. Bugatti Divo

Price: $5.8 million

Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. manufactures the Bugatti Divo, a mid-engine sports car designed with a track-focused strategy.

It was named after Albert Divo, a French racing driver who won the Targa Florio twice for Bugatti in the 1920s.

The DIVO, according to Bugatti, is the most nimble and dynamic vehicle they've ever produced.

The automobile, which was limited to 40 units, was pre-sold to Chiron owners via special invitation by the dealers prior to its public presentation. It was sold out on the first day it was available.

5. Mercedes Benz Maybach Exelero

The Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exelero comes in fifth on our list of most costly automobiles.

Despite its odd appearance, it's a high-powered four-seater sports car with a V12 twin-turbo engine.

Fulda, a German subsidiary of Goodyear, commissioned it to test their new Carat Exelero tire line.

According to Top Gear, the Exelero was featured in one of Jay-Z's music videos and was purchased by rapper Birdman.

It has a top speed of 213 miles per hour.

4. Bugatti Centodieci

Price: $9 million

It's apparent that Bugatti put a lot of effort into the Centodieci model. The automobile is a celebration of the Bugatti marque's 110th birthday and pays homage to the Bugatti EB110.

The Centodieci is 20kg lighter than the Chiron and sports a 1,578hp 8,000cc quad-turbocharged W16 engine. The Centodieci will be limited to ten units, each costing 8 million euros ($9 million USD).

3. Rolls Royce Sweptail

What can only be defined as one magnificent piece of handcrafted wizardry takes third place on our list of the most costly cars.

The Rolls-Royce Sweptail is a one-off luxury car built in the United Kingdom by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. It is a powerhouse of automotive design and engineering.

In 2013, Rolls-Royce received a commission for a super-yacht and aircraft specialist, the identity of whom Rolls-Royce does not reveal.

In 2017, the Sweptail made its debut as the world's most expensive new car at the annual Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este event.

It outperformed all of its competitors and is still one of the most costly automobiles ever sold.

2. Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta

Price: $17 million

Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta is the world's second most expensive automobile. It contributes to the Pagani Zonda's already illustrious history and has a distinctive appearance. The car's rear wheels are partially coated in carbon fiber, the wind-shield is narrower than usual, and it lacks a roof.

The Barchetta has a top speed of 221mph and a peak power of 789bhp. It is the most powerful and quickest Zonda model ever made.

It's safe to say that this vehicle is a work of art.

Despite the fact that it is the second most expensive car on the list, it still costs $17 million USD.

1. Bugatti La Voiture Noire

Price: $19 million

The Bugatti La Voiture Noire is the world's most costly automobile.

It's part of Bugatti's annual strategy to construct two unique automobiles. Only one Noire will be created, and we think it's very sexy. Despite the fact that the automobile was first announced in 2019, Bugatti stated that it would take another two and a half years to complete.

With a top speed of 261 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 2.5 seconds, this car is a real adrenaline ride.

According to Bugatti, the car was purchased by an anonymous buyer for $19 million, including taxes. The automobile is worth roughly $12.4 million USD before taxes.
