In celebration of the iconic 911 sports car's special anniversary, the engineers at Weissach have crafted an ultimate driving pleasure machine called the 911 S/T. This exclusive anniversary model combines the best attributes of the 911 GT3 with Touring Package and the 911 GT3 RS. Moreover, resulting in a perfect blend of agility and driving dynamics.

ENGINE

The heart of this masterpiece is the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter boxer engine from the 911 GT3 RS, producing an impressive 386 kW (525 PS) and mated to a short-ratio manual transmission. With a relentless focus on lightweight construction and an optimized running-gear setup, the 911 S/T boasts a remarkable curb weight of just 1,380 kilograms, making it the lightest among the 992 generation.

DESIGN

Designed for the sheer joy of driving on winding roads, the 911 S/T showcases Porsche's expertise in GT and motorsport. Its exceptional nimbleness and agile handling are a result of reducing rotating mass in both the engine and wheels, ensuring dynamic responsiveness and immediate driver feedback. Unlike the track-oriented 911 GT3 RS, the 911 S/T is purpose-built for exhilarating journeys on public roads.

911 GENERATION

The name "S/T" pays homage to a performance-focused version of the original 911 generation - the 911 ST from 1969. The 911 S/T captures the spirit of its predecessor and brings it into the present generation. Borrowing elements from the 911 GT3 RS and the 911 GT3 with Touring Package. The anniversary model is further enhanced with specially developed lightweight components. Further, culminating in a one-of-a-kind driving experience within the 911 GT lineup.

To achieve its remarkable agility and responsiveness, the 911 S/T employs consistent lightweight design throughout. Carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) is used for the front bonnet, roof, front wings, and doors. While magnesium wheels, PCCB system, lithium-ion starter battery, and lightweight glass come as standard. The result is a substantial weight reduction, even omitting rear-axle steering, which distinguishes the 911 S/T as a true driver's car.

POWER

The 911 S/T is equipped with a new lightweight clutch and a single-mass flywheel. Further improving engine responsiveness and revving speed. With its six-speed manual transmission featuring a shorter gear ratio. The high-revving engine accelerates the 911 S/T from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and achieves a top speed of 300 km/h. The exhilarating driving experience is accompanied by the captivating sounds of the standard lightweight sports exhaust system.

Unlike its racing-oriented siblings, the 911 S/T features optimized aerodynamics for public road use. It includes a Gurney flap on the extending rear spoiler and rides on lightweight center-locking magnesium wheels paired with ultra-high-performance tires for superior mechanical grip.

INTERIOR

Inside the cabin, the 911 S/T exudes elegance and heritage with its optional exclusive Heritage Design Package. This package offers unique exterior colors, decorative foils, and classic-design Porsche crests, paying homage to the car's historical roots. The interior features cloth seat centers in Classic Cognac with black pinstripes, two-tone semi-aniline leather trim, a roof lining in perforated Dinamica, and other elements from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.

OWNERSHIP EXPERIENCE

To complement the ownership experience, Porsche Design offers customers of the 911 S/T the Chronograph 1 – 911 S/T. This exclusive timepiece, with a titanium case and a rotor designed like the magnesium wheel of the 911 S/T. Moreover, it embraces the lightweight design principle of this purist 911 special edition.

CONCLUSION

In summary, the 911 S/T is a tribute to the heritage of the iconic 911 sports car. Further, delivering pure driving enjoyment through its agile handling, lightweight construction, and dynamic performance. Basically, making it a truly unique and special addition to the Porsche 911 family.
