Peugeot 208 HYbrid Air 2 L Concept

With an average CO2 emission of 111.1 g/km, new Peugeot vehicles sold in Europe are among the best car brands in Europe in terms of CO2 emission control. Contributing to this result is Peugeot's pioneering use of Euro 6 emissions-compliant engines, particularly with the BlueHDi diesel engine and the 3-cylinder gasoline PureTech range.

Building on its existing success, Peugeot wants to go even further. The Peugeot 208 HYbrid Air 2 L concept car was launched with fuel consumption of only 2.0 L per 100 km. The new concept car project aims at industrial mass production and the production of affordable products by 2020.

The Peugeot 208 HYbrid Air 2 L Concept is designed with a mix of materials, using steel, aluminum and composite materials in combination with each other to reduce the weight of the body to reduce fuel consumption. In addition, the car is aerodynamically designed to ensure better airflow by lowering the body height and using large diameter, low-drag tires.

Powering the Peugeot 208 HYbrid Air 2 L Concept is an air-hybrid system, which consists of a gasoline engine, a compressed air storage system and an air motor. During driving, it can switch between aerodynamic, gasoline, and hybrid modes according to the actual needs of the driver to obtain the best fuel economy.

It is worth mentioning that Peugeot will also launch a light motorcycle Django at the Paris Motor Show, with a mini and cute exterior design, completely retro 50 s lion style, and equipped with three-cylinder capacities such as 50 c, 125 c, and 150cc to choose from.
