New generation of Lexus NX officially launched

Lexus officially released a new generation of NX. it is reported that the new car is based on Toyota TANG architecture, the appearance of a change in the current "uncle" atmosphere, the interior is a comprehensive upgrade, and the power launched (2.5L, 2.4T) fuel version, (2.5L + motor) hybrid version, (2.5L + motor) plug-in hybrid version. In addition, the new car will be officially put into production in the third quarter, and the domestic market is expected to be listed in the fourth quarter.

Combined with the previously revealed official diagram, the new car adopts the latest generation of Lexus family design, the overall more aggressive than the current model, including the front face of the iconic spindle-shaped air intake network is more aggressive, the horizontal width is further enhanced, and embedded black honeycomb dot grille, with narrow matrix LED headlights on both sides, creating a more stylish visual experience.

On the side, the new car has several crisscrossing waistline designs, under the light source outlines a variety of block elements, while the shape of the side window has also changed, the C pillar after the upper and lower lines of the window quickly converge together, without delay.

At the rear, the new car also incorporates the design of through-tail light clusters for the first time, and adopts a multi-layered overlapping design approach to integrate the through-tail light strips with the taillights on both sides; the lower surround is also not bad, with the design of faux inflow holes to enhance the movement in a straight line. The dimensions of the new car are 4660/1865/1640 mm in length, 1865/1640 mm in height and 2690 mm in wheelbase, an increase of 20 mm in length and 30 mm in wheelbase compared to the old model, which brings more space for passengers inside.

Inside the car, the new interior design is eye-catching, with a radical block instead of the previous symmetrical layout, and the addition of a black + white dual-color combination; the steering wheel has been redesigned, with a three-spoke shape embellished with metal trim, and supports touch multi-function steering wheel buttons.

In addition, the new car also redesigned the gear knob area, the electronic gear knob shape is unique, and integrated with the electronic handbrake and several adjustment buttons.

Technology configuration, the new car is also equipped with a full LCD instrument panel + large suspended center screen, which also supports LTE online, Apple Carplay, and other functions; and comfort features, the new car supports a wireless charging system, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, seat heating / ventilation, etc.. Power part, the new car will be fuel version, hybrid version (HEV), plug-in hybrid version (PHEV), where the fuel version is equipped with a new 2.4 T turbocharged engine and 2.5 L naturally aspirated engine, where the 2.5 L engine maximum power 151 kW (203 PS), peak torque 249 N-m, transmission are matched with Aisin 8AT transmission, the front-drive version 0-96km / h Acceleration is 8.2s for the front-wheel drive version and 8.6 s for the four-wheel drive version with 0-96km/h.

The new 2.4 T engine has a maximum power of 205 kW (275 PS) and peak torque of 430 N-m, and the transmission is matched with an Aisin 8AT transmission, with 0-96km/h acceleration of 6.8 s.

The hybrid version is NX350h, which is equipped with a hybrid assembly of 2.5 L + electric motor, with a combined maximum power of 178 kW (242 PS) and 0-96km/h acceleration of 5.7 s.

The NX450h+ is equipped with a plug-in hybrid assembly consisting of a 2.5 L + electric motor, with a maximum power of 302 PS and 6s to complete 0-100km/h acceleration, transmission matched with E-CVT transmission and e-Four AWD four-wheel drive system (power distribution can be changed between 100:0 and 20:80); on the battery system, the new car has a battery capacity of 18.1 kWh and a pure electric range of Mileage up to 58 km, full in 4.5 hours with 3.3 kW charger (6.6 kW charger optionally available, full in 2...5 hours)

In terms of driving modes, the NX450h+ offers four modes: EV, Auto EV, HEV, and charging.
