As a new generation model, the new NX shares the TNGA-K platform with RAV4 Rongfang/Wilanda and HARRIER Lingfang, and offers fuel, hybrid, and plug-in versions of three powertrains for consumers to choose from, and is expected to be officially launched in November.

The new generation NX continues the latest Lexus family design and is more aggressive than the current model. The signature spindle-shaped air intake grille on the front face is more aggressive and the horizontal width is further enhanced, and the blackened honeycomb dot grille is embedded, together with the narrow matrix LED headlamps on both sides, creating a more stylish visual experience.

On the side, the new car has several crisscrossing waistline designs, and under the light source outlines a variety of block elements, while the shape of the side window has also changed, the C pillar after the upper and lower lines of the window quickly converges together, without delay. In terms of dimensions, the new car's length, width and height are 4660/1865/1640 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2690 mm, an increase of 20 mm in length and 30 mm in wheelbase compared to the old model, thus bringing more space for passengers inside the car.

At the rear, the new car also incorporates the design of through-tail light clusters for the first time, and adopts a multi-layered overlay design technique to integrate the through-tail light strips with the taillights on both sides; the lower surround is also not bad, with the design of faux inflow holes to enhance the sport straight line.

The interior of the new generation NX adopts the Tazuna reins concept for the first time, which means the reins for a rider to convey instructions to a horse in Japanese. This innovative cockpit concept aims to achieve an intuitive connection between the human workshop and allows the driver to better focus on the controls. Instead of the previous symmetrical layout, the radical block has been replaced with a black+white color combination, while the steering wheel has been redesigned with a three-spoke shape embellished with metal trim and supports touch-sensitive multi-function steering wheel buttons.

In addition, the new car also redesigned the gear knob area, the electronic gear knob shape is unique, and integrated with the electronic handbrake and several adjustment buttons.

Technology configuration, the new car is also equipped with a full LCD instrument panel + large suspended center screen, which also supports LTE online, Apple Car plays, and other functions; and comfort features, the new car supports wireless charging system, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, seat heating/ventilation, etc.

Power part, the new car will be a fuel version, hybrid version (HEV), or plug-in hybrid version (PHEV), where the fuel version is equipped with a new 2.4T turbocharged engine and 2.5L naturally aspirated engine, where the 2.5L engine maximum power 151kW (203PS), peak torque 249N-m, transmission are matched with Aisin 8AT transmission, front-drive version 0-96km / h Acceleration is 8.2s for the front-wheel drive version and 8.6s for the four-wheel drive version with 0-96km/h.

The new 2.4T engine has a maximum power of 205kW (275PS) and a peak torque of 430N-m. The transmission is matched with Aisin 8AT transmission, and the 0-96km/h acceleration is 6.8s. The hybrid version is the NX350h, which is equipped with a 2.5L + electric motor hybrid assembly, with a combined maximum power of 178kW (242PS) and 0-96km/h acceleration of 5.7s. 5.7s.

The most powerful model is the NX450h+, which is equipped with a 2.5L + electric motor plug-in hybrid assembly, with a maximum power of 302PS and 0-100km/h acceleration in 6s. The transmission is matched with E-CVT transmission and e-Four AWD 4WD system (power distribution can be changed between 100:0 and 20:80). The battery system has a capacity of 18.1kWh, with a pure electric range of 58km, and can be fully charged in 4.5 hours using a 3.3kW charger.
