Mercedes E-class, as one of the key luxury sedan models of Mercedes-Benz (Benz), is now joined in three new local assemblies: E350 AMG Line, E300 Exclusive and E200 Sportstyle Avantgarde.

Although most of these three models still maintain the e-class styling elements in appearance, they are differentiated by the language of retaining rods and subdivided by the power, so that consumers can have more choice elements. In appearance, the new E-Class is basically the same as the original, but in E 200 Avantgarde it added SportStyle body sets, which included chrome trim under the front bumper, micro-trim on the wing panels, bright black trim on the rear bumper, exhaust pipe trim and a few details.

In addition, consumers can choose from three different styles of wheel rings, which are suitable for Avantgarde and Exclusive lines. As for the interior, the roof has a black fabric overlay, a center console with black and silver elements, and brown leather seats. The stainless-steel accelerator pedals and the floor MATS with SportStyle are also included.

It also has the same new multi-purpose steering wheel (with touch control) as the W205 C-Class, and the original optional seat comfort is now standard across the car. Meanwhile, its COMAND Online information system has also been updated.

It is worth mentioning that the new driving assistance package on the S-Class has also been transplanted to the E-Class, including the active car-following system and active steering assistance, but this system is only available on the top E-350.

On the power side, the new e-Class will have a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine, and a 48-V lightweight hybrid system will be added to the top-of-the-line E-350 AMG Line. For the drivetrain, the new E-Class full car is paired with a 9G Tronic nine-speed self-propelled transmission.

In new car on the AMG Line as a index, the most important thing is to power specifications, although it still use the 2 liter engine as the main body, but add the double vortex turbo, and RSG (Belt - Driven Starter Generator) 48 v electricity power auxiliary supplies, let its 299 horsepower, torque of 400 Newton meters, to further increase 14 and 150 Newton meters, as on the create a more excellent dynamic performance, the acceleration of 0-100 can be completed in 5.9 seconds.

The factory says the system is different from EQ Boost, the C200's auxiliary mechanism, and so has a different name.

The E200 has a power output of 197 horsepower and 320 newton-meter peak torque, while the E300 has a power output of 258 and 370 newton-meter peak torque. The whole family is equipped with a 9G-Tronic self-draining gearbox.

Another important upgrade is that all three new models will have some advanced safety systems. E350 AMG Line and E300 Exclusive will carry blind spot warning and lane assist; E200 Sportstyle Avantgarde only upgraded with a blind spot warning.

The E 200 has a maximum power of 197 HP, a peak torque of 320 Nm and an acceleration of only 7.5 seconds per 100 miles.

The E 300 has a maximum horsepower of 258 HP, a peak torque of 370 Nm, and an acceleration time of 6.2 seconds per 100 miles. For the top-of-the-line E 350, the engine delivers up to 299 HP and 400 Nm of torque, plus a 48-V lightweight hybrid system for a combined output of 313 HP and 550 Nm, with a static acceleration of up to 100 in 5.9 seconds.

It is worth mentioning that in the suspension part, E 200 and E 300 adopted the AGLITY CONTROL system, while the top E 350 adopted the DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL system.

Finally, the E350 AMG Line also adds a new family of Dynamic Body Control systems, allowing drivers to further adjust the suspension system to better adapt to various road conditions.
