A new model for the Maserati family

The Maserati Grecale (Ask Price | Check Availability) was unveiled at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Bay Area Auto Show. The new car has been officially launched before, with a price range of 63.88-106.38 million yuan. The new car will be powered by a 2.0T engine with a 48V light hybrid system and a 3.0T V6 twin-turbo engine option, while the Folgore pure electric version will be available in the second half of 2023.

As a brand new model of the family, the new car inherits a lot of family elements in terms of appearance, but a different form of interpretation in style. The front part of the headlight design may be inspired by the MC20, the huge straight waterfall center mesh with the central eye-catching trident brand logo, and recognizability pulls full.

In the Trofeo model, the area of the front grille will be further moved down, and the size of the air inlet at the front bumper will be larger, with the carbon fiber front lip, the sporty features will be more obvious.

The overall profile of the new car is compact and sporty, but it still has the style of a coupe. The details, such as the model logo at the wings and the trident logo at the D-pillar, follow the family-style design to a certain extent. It is also worthwhile to integrate that the new wheel rims can be equipped with a maximum of 21 inches as an option. Dimensions, Grecale Trofeo model length, width, and height of 4847x1979x1659mm, wheelbase 2901mm.

The rear part of the car is more simple and more stylish than the Levante, with the taillight clusters on both sides tending to be three-dimensional. The angular level is perfectly integrated with the rear line; while the exhaust section below is equipped with a bilateral four-exit exhaust layout.

In the interior, Grecale has a longitudinal layout with a central display and a push-button gearshift mechanism. The center console consists of a 12.3-inch central display with an 8.8-inch LCD control panel below, which incorporates the latest MIA (Maserati Intelligent Assistance) multimedia system.

The intelligent clock inside the car is the first time Maserati has used digital clock elements in a car. Not only can it display the time, but the dial can also respond to voice commands from the owner and can even change its skin and appearance according to the owner's personal preferences, and can also be used as a compass or gravity meter.

In terms of configuration, the new car will have an L2 level driver assistance system, some models will be equipped with a HUD head-up display function, and 21-speaker Sonus Faber (Italy Seeba) audio will also become the standard equipment of the new car. In addition, the new car will support OTA functions, including upgrades for the powertrain. Officials said that the future domestic version of the new car will be developed in cooperation with Tencent on the car engine.

Previously when the new car was released, Maserati officials also revealed some information about the future Grecale Folgore pure electric version. The pure electric version will provide a complete sound experience inside and outside the cabin, and the tuning of the motor and aerodynamic optimization will focus on eliminating noise.

In terms of power, the GT and Modena versions will be powered by a 2.0T engine with a 48V light-hybrid system. The GT version will have a maximum power of 300 Ps and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 5.6 seconds, while the Modena will have a maximum power of 330 Ps and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 5.3 seconds.

The Trofeo version will be equipped with a new 3.0T V6 twin-turbo engine with a maximum power of 530 Ps and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 3.8 seconds. The Folgore version of the premiere model will have four-wheel drive, delivering up to 800 N-m of torque, along with a 105 kWh battery.
