The Lexus LX600 was recently put on sale in Japan with a starting price of 12.5 million yen. The new vehicle is built on the TNGA-F platform and features a new Lexus family design concept on the exterior, plus a more luxurious interior, and a 3.5T V6 engine on the power side.

The new car's exterior continues the relatively square body shape with a seven-bar chrome grille that forms a three-dimensional shape to create a borderless structure. The headlight clusters on both sides are also different, with the daytime running lights adopting a three-dimensional structure to provide a sharper visual effect.

The side of the car also has a strong sense of weight, plus the muscular front and rear wheel arches and chrome trim, which can highlight a certain sense of quality. In terms of body dimensions, the new car is 5,100 mm long with a wheelbase of 2850 mm.

At the rear, the new car adopts a through-head LED taillight design, and more striking is the use of the letters "LEXUS" to replace the previous Lexus logo, while the design of the light clusters on both sides can still be seen in the current car into the car, the new car changed to a new central control design, the upper 12.3-inch display can display audio, navigation, multi-terrain off-road system, and other information, the lower The 7-inch display can also display off-road parameters and other important information as needed. The new car system enhances user interaction through visual, tactile, and acoustic sensations, bringing a distinctive experience.

For the first time, the new vehicle also offers a four-seat layout option. To make the rear row more comfortable, the passenger seat can be adjusted forward and the seat tilt angle can be up to 48 degrees. In addition, the rear-seat passenger has legroom of 1,100 mm and a retractable footrest to provide a more relaxed sitting position.

To further increase the comfort of rear passengers, the new model also features exclusive overhead air vents, reading lights, a rear sunshade, and a dual-screen entertainment system located above the front seats, as well as a huge center armrest in the center of both seats and a touch screen to control the interior functions.

In terms of intelligent assisted driving, the new car comes standard with a new set of active safety systems, including frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and pedestrian and bicycle monitoring, providing active emergency steering when necessary. In addition, the new car also has ACC adaptive cruise control for the full speed range and lane-keeping assist, which relieves driver fatigue to a certain extent.

Thanks to the TNGA-F platform, the weight of the new Lexus LX600 has been reduced by about 200 kg, which will lead to better fuel consumption and driving stability. The new car is powered by a 3.5T V6 engine with 415 PS and 650 N-m peak torque, which is matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

This transmission can provide a wider gear ratio and the comfort of the vehicle when starting and fuel consumption when driving at high speed can be well ensured. In terms of off-road performance, the MTS Multi-Terrain Select 4WD system can provide a choice of AUTO, DIRT, SAND, MUD, DEEP SNOW, and ROCK-focused driving modes.

In addition, the usual Lexus LX series features such as creep mode, tank turnaround, steep hill descent, high/low-speed four-wheel drive and central differential lock are also retained, helping to enhance the vehicle's off-road performance. Like the new Toyota Landcruiser on the same platform, the new Lexus LX600 will continue to have a non-load-bearing body.

The F SPORT version will have a more unique styling with exclusive 22-inch forged wheels and a blacked-out grille, plus the unique F SPORT badge will be displayed in different locations. In addition, the new car also has a Torsen differential, as well as specially tuned front and rear dampers, AHC Active Height Control, and AVC Adaptive Variable Suspension.
