Designed with cutting-edge technology and Scandinavian aesthetics, the EX30 enhances people's lives by providing convenience, safety, and enjoyment.

Unveiled in Milan, Italy, the EX30 is now available for ordering in select markets. This addition to our expanding electric lineup marks our first small premium SUV, catering to the increasing demand for electric cars in a rapidly evolving market.

What sets the EX30 apart is its attractive pricing, starting around EUR 36,000. Customers can enjoy a premium all-electric SUV at a similar price point to internal combustion engine-powered equivalents. Additionally, the EX30 can be obtained through our convenient Care by Volvo subscription package, featuring transparent pricing and an effortless ordering process.

It delivers everything you'd expect from a Volvo in a smaller package, maintaining our commitment to exceptional safety and design centered around people and their needs."

The EX30 showcases our design principles in a compact format. With a long wheelbase, large wheels, and balanced overhangs, it exudes refinement and balance. The distinct electric character is evident in its confident face, closed shield, and digital rendition of Thor's Hammer headlights. Five vibrant exterior colors, including Cloud Blue and Moss Yellow inspired by Swedish coastlines, imbue the EX30 with character and personality.

Let's delve into the battery technology. We offer three powertrain options and two battery types, allowing you to select the one that best suits your needs. For city dwellers or short-distance travelers, the LFP battery paired with a single-motor option is a cost-effective choice. If maximizing range is your priority, the Single Motor Extended Range variant, equipped with an NMC extended-range battery, offers up to 480km between charges. For performance enthusiasts, the Twin Motor Performance variant combines the NMC battery with an additional e-motor, resulting in all-wheel drive capability, 315kW (428hp) power, and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.

Charging the EX30 is a breeze. The extended-range Twin Motor variant supports charging up to 153kW, while the standard-range version accommodates 134kW. With these capabilities, you can charge your battery from 10% to 80% in a little over 25 minutes. The car's center display and app enable you to adjust the amperage, maximum charging level, and scheduling according to your preferences.

To ensure an exceptional driving experience, we've fine-tuned the EX30's chassis to optimize its compact dimensions. Its low center of gravity and evenly distributed weight enhance maneuverability and agility, making it ideal for urban environments and beyond.

Despite its smaller size, the EX30 significantly reduces its carbon footprint. By addressing emissions throughout production and lifecycle, along with mindful material usage, we have achieved a total carbon footprint below 30 tonnes* over a distance of 200,000 kilometers. This exemplifies our commitment to sustainability and aligns with our ambitious goals.

Safety is paramount in the EX30, as expected from Volvo. It includes a special safety feature that prevents "dooring" accidents, alerting you when opening your door in the presence of cyclists, scooters, or runners. Our protective safety technology and structural design meet our rigorous safety standards, ensuring readiness for real-world scenarios.

Our new generation Park Pilot Assist feature takes parking to new heights. It seamlessly handles all types of parking spaces, including parallel, curved, perpendicular, and diagonal fishbone-style parking. Identifying available spots through a 3D user interface, the feature controls throttle, brake, and steering while you supervise the process. The screen provides real-time distance information from surrounding objects, ensuring a stress-free parking experience.

Collaborating with tech partners like Google, Apple, and Qualcomm, we have delivered an exceptional user experience for the EX30. Our joint venture with ECARX through HaleyTek software ensures a top-notch infotainment platform. The EX30 incorporates a digital key functionality compatible with various phone brands and models, making car sharing convenient. The dedicated app provides essential services such as charging, locating your car in busy parking lots, remote locking, and preheating. Furthermore, the EX30 is designed to receive over-the-air software updates, continually improving its performance.

Adding to the serene atmosphere, the EX30 offers a choice of five ambient lighting themes inspired by different Scandinavian landscapes. With subtly shifting colors, these themes bring a sense of calm to the interior. For an immersive experience, you can pair each lighting theme with an ambient soundscape.

Coming as a surprise, the EX30 will be available as a Cross Country variant starting next year. This special edition builds upon our renowned Cross Country heritage, providing bespoke features such as increased ground clearance, 19-inch black wheels, and optional 18-inch wheels with custom tires. Distinguished by skid plates, black panels, and Cross Country branding, this variant enhances your off-road adventures while proudly displaying the Swedish flag on the hood.
