Cayenne Coupe model debut

Porsche held the debut of the new Cayenne Coupe, a coupe SUV based on the third-generation Cayenne.

The Cayenne Coupe is another masterpiece of the Porsche family in the SUV segment, following the Cayenne and Macan models, and it is a model with a high degree of integration of sportiness, everyday practicality, and style. The Cayenne Coupe not only inherits all the technical highlights of the third-generation Cayenne, but also reveals the new model's more advanced, sportier, and distinctive charm with its more dynamic design and new technical details.

The Cayenne Coupe features sharper lines and a recognizable rear end, as well as Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) as standard, which includes a roof spoiler and a new adaptive rear spoiler. The spoiler, when retracted, blends seamlessly into the side profile.

The roof is designed in the same sports car style as the Porsche 911 GT 3 RS and is available in two design concepts: a panoramic glass roof as standard and an optional carbon fiber roof. The panoramic glass roof has an area of 2.16 square meters and a light area of 0.92 square meters. The roof edge is lowered by approximately 20 mm and the height of the front windshield and A-pillar is lower than that of the Cayenne, thus creating a sportier and more coupe-like visual effect than in the regular Cayenne model. At the same time, the rear doors and rear wing have been redesigned to widen the shoulders by 18 mm, giving the car a more muscular look. The location of the license plate frame has also been integrated into the bumper from the original middle of the rear end, reducing the overall visual height.

Interior, the Cayenne Coupe's center console area is not much different from the front and Cayenne, but the rear row adopts a new design, it will use the standard two independent seat design, but also free to choose the rear comfort seats. At the same time, the rear seat height has been lowered by 30 mm compared to the Cayenne, which in turn serves to guarantee headroom.

The Cayenne Coupe's luggage compartment has a volume of 625 liters, which is slightly smaller than the Cayenne 3.0T's 770 liters, but it can meet the needs of daily use. With the rear seats down, the Cayenne Coupe's luggage compartment volume can be expanded to 1540 liters; the Cayenne Turbo Coupe can increase from 600 to 1510 liters. The overall data performance is relatively close to that of the BMW X 6 (580-1525 L).

The Cayenne Coupe has more standard features than the Cayenne model, such as the standard Sport Chrono package, 20-inch wheels, panoramic roof, sport 2+2 seats, and ambient lighting, adaptive air suspension, black trim on the side windows (high-gloss), 14-way comfort shop-adjustable front seats. In addition, the new car can be equipped with optional lightweight sports components, which include a carbon fiber roof with a sunken center, 22-inch GT Design wheels, seats with a checkered pattern, and interior trim with carbon fiber trim and Alcantara fabric.

In terms of power, the Porsche Cayenne Coupe will be equipped with a 3.0T V6 engine with a maximum power of 340 hp and a peak torque of 450 Nm, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 6 seconds (up to 5.9 seconds with optional lightweight sports components) and a top speed of 243km/h; while the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe will be equipped with a 4.0T The Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe is equipped with a 4.0T twin-turbo V8 engine with a maximum power of 550 hp and a peak torque of 770 Nm, accelerating from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 286 km/h.
