Audi officially announced the official launch of the SQ5 model, a member of the Audi S family.

Audi SQ5 is the sport performance version of Q 5, the car's appearance is mainly in some details to distinguish it from the ordinary models. sQ5 adopts an exclusive double-layer aluminum horizontal one-piece grille, honeycomb grille on both sides, S line front and rear bumpers, S line rear spoiler and rear diffuser, bilateral four-exit exhaust pipe, etc. In addition, the "V6 T" logo also appears on the wings of the vehicle, together with the "S" logo on the body, highlighting its special identity. In terms of body color, Audi provides users with nine distinctive paint options such as Glacier White, Volcano Red, Moonlight Blue, Phantom Black, and Monsoon Gray.

Not only that, but the Audi SQ5's suspension system has also been sport-tuned, while the body height has been lowered by 30 mm, together with exclusive brake calipers, 255/45 series performance tires fitted with 20-inch wheels (21-inch wheels are optional), further emphasizing its performance-oriented side. In addition, the car can also be equipped with an optional step-less adjustable steering ratio dynamic steering system to further enhance its handling.

Inside the vehicle, the overall layout of the Audi SQ5 remains unchanged, with a predominantly black interior palette accented by matte aluminum trim. In addition, the sports seats, 3-spoke leather multifunction sports steering wheel, gearshift handle, welcome pedal, and the welcome screen of the central display are marked with a red diamond-shaped S logo, thus further creating a sporty atmosphere.

In terms of features, the SQ5 is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, B&O premium audio, three-zone automatic climate control, premium Nappa leather seats, adaptive headlights, Audi Active Lane Keeping System, and lateral assist.

In addition, the car's luggage compartment volume is 540 liters, when the second row of seats is down, loading space can be expanded to 1560 liters, and standard with the trunk lid intelligent closing function, trunk spacer net, aluminum luggage rack rails, and other practical features.

Power, imported into the domestic sales of Audi SQ5 is equipped with a 3.0 TFSI gasoline engine, a maximum power output of 354 horsepower, peak torque of 470 N-m, with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and every Audi S series sports model must be Quattro all-wheel drive system, the car 0-100km / h acceleration time of 5.3 seconds, the top speed of 250 km/h.

Suitable for the crowd.

Audi SQ5 is suitable for young players who prefer sports performance and like the shape of an SUV and want the vehicle to have certain passability. Of course, more importantly, such consumers are not short of money.

Competitors.

In the field of sporty SUVs, Audi has developed relatively slowly compared to Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Therefore, when launching the SQ5, Audi had to think long and hard about it. From the current point of view, although Mercedes-Benz and BMW have performance versions of SUVs, the sports, mid-size SUV segment market segment is still blank, Audi launched the SQ5 model, and the two German rivals have not been able to compete directly with its products. After Audi launched the SQ5, the two German rivals do not have a product that can directly compete with it. The one that can pose some competition with the SQ5 is probably the Volvo XC 60 T6 AWD Individual Sport.

Summary.

The launch of the Audi SQ 5 enriches the Audi SUV lineup and allows the Audi S family to cover almost the entire product line from hatchbacks, 4-door sedans, and station wagons to SUV models. Of course, considering the high price of the car, it will never take on the task of volume like the ordinary Q 5, but rather a plaything to show off its personality in the hands of a small group of people.
