Audi SQ5 is officially launched with one model. It is reported that the new car is based on the new Audi Q5 after the mid-cycle facelift, and changed a sports appearance package, while the power is upgraded to a 3.0T V6 engine with a maximum power of 260kW (354PS).

On the exterior, the new car is upgraded to the latest Audi family design in detail, including the center mesh replaced with the latest octagonal Singleframe style, not only larger openings, and embedded with the main sports style honeycomb mesh grille; both sides of the headlight cluster, although the contours remain unchanged, the embedded matrix OLED lamp cavity is more sophisticated than the current model, and support the latest headlight system

In detail, the SQ5 model is equipped with a full black package, in which the center grille, window trim, mirrors, roof racks, etc. are all upgraded to black style to highlight the sporting characteristics. 

On the side, although the overall outline of the new car is the same as the standard version, the chrome trim is blacked out and equipped with "silver ears" that boost performance. The SQ5 is equipped with 20-inch aluminum wheels as standard, but 21-inch aluminum wheels are also available.

Body dimensions, the new car's length increased by 19 mm (to 4680 mm), while the width, height, and wheelbase remain the same (1890 mm, 1660 mm, and 2820 mm respectively).

To the rear, the biggest change in the new car focused on the taillight cluster, the new OLED taillight cluster and big brother Q7, both adopted by a thorough chrome trim to connect the two sides, and the function in addition to Audi's exclusive secrets of a variety of "light animation effect", but also supports the near-sense detection function, can be detected when the vehicle behind two meters When a pedestrian or vehicle is detected within two meters behind the vehicle, the taillights will automatically light up. In addition, the new car is equipped with a redesigned diffuser and bilateral four-exit exhaust layout under the surround, so that the sporty character is further enhanced.

Inside the car, the overall interior is more or less the same as the current model, with the same familiar taste. However, in the details, the new car is updated in line with the trend of the in-car entertainment system, standard 10.1-inch center screen (12.3 inches for the top), and embedded with the latest MIB 3 infotainment system, supporting wireless Apple Car Play and Google Android Auto.

As for the configuration, the new car is equipped with Bang & Olsen audio system with a 3D sound field (19 speakers, 705W, 16-channel amplifier), wireless charging, multi-color ambient lighting throughout the car, etc.; while the safety configuration, the new car is upgraded with the latest driver assistance systems, including side warning, lane departure warning, tail-sensing warning, enhanced parking system, rear cross traffic assist, Night vision camera system and adaptive cruise control with traffic congestion assist system.

The new car is powered by a 3.0T turbocharged six-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 260kW (354PS) and a maximum torque of 500N-m. The transmission is matched with an 8-speed manual transmission and Quattro four-wheel drive system and can achieve a 0-100km/h acceleration of 5.1s and a top speed of 250km/h.

In addition, under normal driving conditions, the Quattro four-wheel drive system will distribute torque between the front and rear axles in a 40:60 ratio. In case of slippage, the front wheels can share up to 70 percent of the power and the rear wheels can share up to 85 percent of the power. In addition, the new car is equipped with a sport differential that controls torque distribution between the left and right wheels for faster cornering speeds.
