Audi RS e-Tron GT officially debuted in China. The new car is located in the electric four-door GT sports car, and Porsche Taycan is based on the J1 platform, will also be produced with Audi R8 common line, and integrated a series of unprecedented "black technology". In addition, the new car will be officially launched within the year.

The Audi e-tTronGT (ask for the bottom price|check out the details) applies a radical and avant-garde design approach to the entire vehicle. The front of the car has a strong family look and is similar to Audi's latest A5 and A7. The upper part of the grille is closed with the same color as the body, and with its honeycomb design, the whole resembles the scales of the armor of a medieval knight, which is novel and has a strong visual appeal.

At the same time, the large air inlets on the front face combined with the precisely designed air deflector slots allow for more efficient and precise cooling of the assembly, battery and braking system. The aerodynamically designed styling lines on the hood surface allow airflow to wrap around the body through a rational design, thereby reducing unwanted vortex. And the narrow matrix headlights on both sides are equipped with the latest LED and laser technology for animated projection capabilities that can generate dynamic departure and homecoming animations with the horizontal extension of light waves.

The side shape of the car has a strong coupe flavor, with the side shoulder lines on the rear wheel arches standing up and extending outward, contrasting with the full cockpit; the concave and convex side shape draws the eye down to the body floor area. The design of the wheels also follows the aerodynamic concept, with each wheel equipped with a double five-spoke design, which allows for optimal ventilation efficiency of the brake discs while reducing air resistance.

In addition, the new car is also equipped with 285/30 R22 size tires, making the side shape of the new AudTrontron GT tenser.

At the rear of the car, a "fishbone" style tail lamp runs through the rear of the car, scattering into independent diamond-shaped LED blocks at the edges of the two sides, which is very recognizable; the large diffuser on the rear surround hints at its strong performance.

Interior.

Entering the car, the entire interior design is both more everyday practicality as well as texture. The smoked black theme color scheme with silver trim throughout creates a wide sense of interior space. The large touch screen in the center and upper part of the car, as well as the lines running through the doors and the cockpit, form a hugging cockpit with a clear hierarchy and a clear and neat functional layout, creating a more humane space for human-computer interaction.

The steering wheel adopts the iconic Audi three-spoke design, with a D-shaped layout and wrapped in tumbled leather, while solid multi-function buttons are distributed on both sides, and the bottom is hollowed out and equipped with an exclusive logo.

In addition, the new car also adopts a new electronic gear lever, but it is significantly different from the one used on the new A3, with a more compact and delicate shape, with a silver base plate, just like the power push-pull lever of the aviation cabin.

The new 12.3-inch digital LCD instrument cluster (resolution 1920 x 720) not only adopts a hexagonal style for the first time, but also has functions that can adjust the display information according to the driver's preference, including virtual dashboard, navigation with mileage information, and entertainment function menu. The 10.1-inch center display is shaped by the black panel underneath, creating the impression of a hover screen; the embedded system is MIB 3, which supports advanced functions such as natural voice control, and wireless Car play/Android AUTO.

Meanwhile, the built-in Audi connects internet connection service provides Audi connect emergency call service integrated with Audi connect remote control function, which can realize remote locking, charging, temperature regulation, and other services. In addition, it also provides Audi Intelligent Connect navigation & infotainment service, which supports online traffic information queries, Google Earth™ navigation service, Amazon Alexa, and other functions.

In other features, the e-Tron GT also supports wireless charging for cell phones and 710W Bang & Olufsen premium audio system (with 16 speakers, including two 3D sound speakers).

In terms of intelligent assistance features, the Audi e-Tron GT and RS e-Tron GT come standard with Audi Preventive Front Safety, Audi Preventive Total Safety, Lane Departure Warning, and optional "Long-distance Travel", "City Road", and "Parking Assist". All three systems are included in the Assisted Driving System Plus. In addition, the optional night vision assist system and panoramic parking assist system are also available.

The seats are equipped with front and rear sports seats derived from racing cars, and the excellent ergonomic design enables the Audi e-tron GT to provide lateral support even during sharp turns. In terms of space, the Audi e-tron GT has two luggage compartments, with the large tailgate design of the rear space, which can provide up to 405L luggage compartment volume; in addition, the hood is equipped with an additional 81L storage space.

Safety.

On the frame structure, Audi e-Tron GT is made of a variety of materials, in the body side of the A-pillar, B-pillar, roof beam, floor, and other positions used thermoformed steel (ultra-high strength steel), the top part is made of carbon fiber and aluminum profiles (this technology is Porsche Taycan is not!) .

The Audi e-Tron GT is also equipped with an e-sound system, which provides a special design for active sound generation inside and outside the car.

The vehicle acoustic warning system (AVAS), in which speakers mounted in the front of the vehicle emit AVAS sound (low-speed driving emits a warning tone); an optional second loudspeaker can be added at the rear, thus allowing the two speakers in the cabin to provide an emotional sound experience, and the two control units also simulate the sound of the engine based on variables such as vehicle speed or throttle position.

For the power section, the Audi e-Tron GT is equipped with dual permanent magnet synchronous motors at the front and rear axles with a total power of 350kW (476PS) and a peak torque of 630N-m for Quattro four-wheel drive, accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 4.1s and a top speed controlled at 245 km/h; while the Audi RS e-Tron GT has a maximum power of The Audi RS e-Tron GT has a maximum power of 440kW (598PS) and peak torque of 830N-m, with 0-100km/h acceleration of 3.3s and a top speed of 250 km/h.

Since there is no mechanical connection between the front and rear axles, the e-Quattro four-wheel drive system can precisely control the power distribution between the front and rear axles as well as the power drive between the left and right wheels on the same axle to achieve the optimal distribution of power between the four wheels under different operating conditions with the dual motors.

In addition, the new vehicle is equipped with dynamic four-wheel steering technology, which can greatly improve the vehicle's agility, steering precision, and excellent directional stability.

On the suspension system, the e-Tron GT adopts a double-wishbone suspension structure, with almost all parts, including the linkage and sub-suspension, made of aluminum alloy; it is equipped with an electric steering system for more precise steering. In addition, the spindle drive unit can rotate the rear wheels up to 2.8 degrees in the opposite direction, and then rotate in the same direction at about 50km/h when the speed reaches about 50km/h, further enhancing steering accuracy and body stability.

The battery is equipped with a 93 kWh lithium-ion battery (33 modules with 12 soft pack cells in each module), which can bring more than 488km of pure electric range (WLTP), and all of them are installed under the entire floor, and between the front and rear axles to achieve an extremely low center of gravity, which benefits the whole vehicle in dynamic handling dimension. With the new energy recovery system, which integrates dual motors and an electro-hydraulic braking system, the range can be increased by 30%.

The energy recovery system also has different combinations of recovery modes: coasting energy recovery using shift paddles to adjust the recovery effort, automatic coasting recovery through a predictive efficiency assist system based on cameras and millimeter wave radar, and braking recovery through a smooth transition between motor kinetic energy recovery deceleration and hydraulic braking system deceleration, which can recover 0.3g of kinetic energy through the motor alone without conventional hydraulic brakes and is suitable for more than 90 percent of braking scenarios.

For charging, the Audi e-Tron GT comes standard with 11kW AC charging (upgradable to 22kW later) and also supports DC charging with a standard output of up to 270kW and a range of 100km in 5 minutes; the battery can be charged from 5% to 80% in 23 minutes.
