When it comes to Mazda, people's first impression of the brand is excellent handling and fun to drive when steering, but to say that the most fun to drive Mazda models currently on sale, it is the MX-5.

Imported in its entirety from CBU Japan, the 2021 Mazda MX-5 RF is officially available in 2.0L A/T and 2.0L M/T versions, priced at $410,000 and $390,000.

The Mazda MX-5 RF's lightweight body and agile driving dynamics provide an excellent horsepower-to-weight ratio for sheer joy on any road, and features an electric hardtop convertible design that opens and closes the convertible top automatically and quickly at speeds below 10 km/h.

In terms of power and control, most of the 2021 Mazda MX-5 models are powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine with a longitudinal rear-wheel drive layout and a transmission mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox with a maximum horsepower of 184 and peak torque of 205Nm.

The new Mazda MX-5 is also powered by the Sky activ-G 2.0 petrol engine with an output of 181hp/205Nm, and is available with either a 6-speed Sky Activ-Drive manual or 6-speed manual transmission. The new car is also equipped with an independent suspension with a front multi-wishbone and rear multi-link.

In terms of exterior design, the whole body is sharp and powerful, with bright headlights and daytime driving lights forming an X-shaped light cluster that is full of dynamics. The tail lights are designed as round. The new color is Deep Crystal Blue, while Soul Red Crystal, Snow White Pearl, Machine Gray, Multi-Metallic Gray and Black are also available, making a total of six colors. The new grille shape is flatter than before, and the whole system is equipped with sharp LED headlights as standard, making the whole car more sporty. In addition, the side profile of the MX-5 has a clear sense of hierarchy, and the visual effect of the rear is extremely full, with unique LED taillights that are very recognizable, and the rear exhaust adopts a single-sided dual-exit layout.

The interior is decorated with a two-color mix and match design and wrapped in a large amount of nappa leather. The BOSE audio integrated next to the seat headrests allows the driver to enjoy music during the race.

In terms of configuration, the center control screen is a 7-inch screen. The new generation MX-5 comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto Smart Connect, and driver assistance features, including driver assistance features such as SCBS-F Forward Brake Assist, LDWS Lane Departure Warning, SCBS-R Rear Brake Assist, TSR Lane Recognition, Driver Attention Alert System, and Blind Spot Monitoring. The new car's safety features greatly enhance user driving safety. 2021 new model upgrades are mainly for the 2.0L A/T and 2.0L M/T standard. AppleCarPlay has now been updated to Wireless Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity, and all the rest of the specifications remain the same.

It is worth mentioning that Mazda also officially launched an MX-5 RS White Limited Selection model, which is also the most expensive MX-5 ever, equipped with brembo multi-piston brake calipers, high-temperature resistant brake pads, 17-inch BBS lightweight forged wheels as well as high-performance tires, making the overall performance of the car even better.
